Scientific papers are really expensive. No student can afford to have access to them. If you want to do a proper research, it is impossible to pay all the access to all the publishers that are out there. Because for one topic of your interest there are a lot of different publishers to talk about that.

Scihub is a site where you can find everything for free. It is basically piracy.

And oh i love pirates.

Scientific research should be accessible for everyone, for every type of research and for every level of education. It is not a race "i progress more than you", but should be a "we progress a humanity". Also it should be "we found this thing A is like this", "We also found A is like that and we also found B" and everyone can add a little to the research. If we don't have accesso to what other study units of other countries do, how we do progress?

It is true we need a lot of the same design of study to be certain of something, but sometimes there are too many identical studies, just because you don't know it was already there or you didn't know the same topic was being sudied by another country in the same period.

So yes Scihub is a pirate, but in this world, in this scientific world, it is the only one doing things right.

Neil Gaiman has offered to step back on 'Good Omens' Season 3 for the final series of the Amazon Prime Video fantasy drama starring Michael

Neil Gaiman is understood to have offered to step back from the third and final season of Amazon Prime Video‘s fantasy drama Good Omens.

Deadline revealed on Monday that pre-production had paused on the BBC Studios-produced show in the wake of allegations made by four women against Gaiman, which he denies. This came after Disney’s planned feature adaptation of Gaiman’s 2008 YA title The Graveyard Book was also put on pause.

Now, we understand that Gaiman has made an offer to Amazon and producers to take a back seat on the latest season so that it can continue amid crisis talks over the Terry Pratchett adaptation’s future.

Amazon is understood to be considering Gaiman’s offer and no final decisions have been made. Good Omens S3 is currently in the early stages of pre-production. Gaiman has previously said the show, which is made in Scotland, will shoot from January 2025. Amazon declined comment.

Yes. And even of i'm not ace, i find it quite annoying. Also boring. Also i don't like very sexual scene in a context that is not sexual/ a story that is not sexual, but sex is used for some sort of engagement or passepartout. Why? Why didn't you create a real connection?

Also this is why i like the so called "qeerbaiting" and the stage "pre-relationship" in eterosexual couples: i like to see characters with real stories and real connection between them and the sexual part it is something that, if you relly want to put in the story, is an additional. It has to be someting superflual. A lot of time they use sex as a "i don't know how to show intimacy between two people"
