Step-Mom: We all knew there was something wrong with you, but when we took you to get help, you were acting like *mocking, melodramatic whine* YOU ALL THINK I’M CRAZY-- Yeah, wow, telling me we were going to go to the movies and then leaving me in a strange psychiatrist’s office when I was a 14 year old kid without explaining anything sure made it clear that this was for MY benefit, thank you, best mother of the year award.

am i like the only person who gets a little ‘mmmm’ about fans who see an Asian character and decide to change them to “make better representation” and obviously:
a) don’t know there are dark-skinned Asians b) don’t know there are mixed Asians c) keep perpetuating the stereotype that All Asians are white adjacent
this has reduced me to tears
