I have thought about this before, I just happened to do extra thinking today! (I blame @sildae)

There are these two pics of their “skeletons”.

In the second one, you can clearly see the horn-like protrusions from the togruta’s cranium. For the one with Ahsoka where it looks like her montrals are jello…. I figure it was due to art style… or…

Maybe like baby giraffes, young togrutas don’t have solidified montal bones? (that’s a thing now. montal bones lol)

And then you have the adults like:

One of the things that kinda defines an ossicone is that they have skin (and hair) growing on top of them. And every togruta that’s been shown does have skin over their montrals. Their lekku, IMHO, are basically fat deposits.

So you have ossicones on top and sacs of fat dangling below. This (to me) explains the “crease” we saw a lot during TCW show.

Which is oddly absent from SWR…

I’ve pretty much hand-waved that off to “artistic style” which is whatever and fine lol.

I think it’s kinda similar in SWTOR:

ANYWAY~

Togruta montrals are hollow ossicones that help with passive echolocation. They have a thin layer of skin over their montrals that extend downward and form the fat deposits known as ‘lekku’. The markings on the montral and lekku were originally a form of deterrence to the akul, the main predator on their home world of Shili. The bright contrasting colors and patterns would act doubly as a form of illusion, making them appear bigger than they are, as well as a warning. (I’m big AND I taste bad)

Zodiac Arrows

The arrows are used to protect the Leo’s kingdom - it may be anything, from home to a partner. Their jewels work as fuel for incendiary shots. ♍️ Virgo’s perfectionism made them extremely picky about their enemies. Although their arrow seems delicate and calm on the outside, it only takes one shot to kill. ♎️ Libras are the diplomats of the zodiac. Their arrow’s tip resemble the pans in the scale of Justice. Just like “Justice is blind”, so is its arrow’s tip. It is meant to end fights; not be part of them. ♏️ Scorpio have the tail of a scorpion on their arrow’s tip, which is poisonous and it kills their victim slowly. Scorpio have a natural secretiveness so they chose not to change their arrow’s fletching - after piercing an enemy in battle, it’s hard to tell if said arrow came from a Scorpio. ♐️ Sagittarius were not influenced by Aries custom arrows. As natural archers, their arrows were always the shape of their zodiac sign. These arrows can travel unbelievable distances, and are often mistaken by shooting stars ♑️ Capricorns were always resistant to big changes so they decided to modify their arrow only once and never again. The fish tail in the place of the fletching is reminiscent of their sign symbol (a sea goat). It can change the direction of the arrow after being shot, making this arrow impossible to escape. ♒️ Aquarius are know for their inventivity and originality. They improved the arrows transportation forever: instead of a quiver their magic arrows are carried on a water bearer (resembling their sign symbol). To pick their arrow they pour it from the bearer. ♓️ Pisces arrows were the last to be created. As Pisces is the sign of mysticism and spirituality, their arrows are capable of piercing the enemy’s soul. Much of this arrow’s characteristics are yet unknown.

i really love our generation’s joke trend of like, very calm but incredibly inflated hyperbole. like nobody says “oh she’s pretty” anymore we say “i would willingly let her murder me” and everyone is just like “lol same”

i think “same” is also great and “me,” i love when somebody reblogs a picture of like, a lizard, and just says “me” and we all know exactly what they mean. the current online Humor Discourse is remarkable because we trade exclusively in metaphors and implications and nobody ever, ever says anything outright and yet EVERYBODY understands each other perfectly

LGBT people: So, does that mean you care about LGBT people?

Conservatives: No! Gay people are pedophiles, and transgender women are just men who want to invade women’s restrooms and harass women! WE NEED TO PROTECT WOMEN!

Women: So, does that mean you care about women?

Conservatives: Shut up, feminazi! Women in the United States are not oppressed! If you want to talk about women’s oppression, you should be focusing on how women in other countries are treated!

Refugees: So, does that mean you care about people from other countries?

Conservatives: Stay out of our country! Why should we care about refugees when we have people here who need help?

Homeless People: So, does that mean you care about people who need help?

Conservatives: No! Get a job, freeloader!
