11 more random facts??

So I guess, round 2? This time while awake!

1- I have taken a couple photography classes, one involved making a lot of paper fruit/dinosaurs and putting together a sort of stop-motion thing, and the other was a zombie-apocalypse themed class that explored traditional saltprinting techniques. I still have the pinhole cameras I made in the second class! 

2- Before going to culinary school, I tried to get a degree in early childhood education and did some work as a substitute teacher’s aid at a preschool. I really enjoy working with kids! Unfortunately things kinda fell apart when I got to the psychology portion of the online course, and while I can handle children alright I cannot converse well with adults.

3- I love animals, growing up our family always had cats and dogs. Currently the household I live in has 3 dogs and a cat.

4- I cannot tolerate alcohol. The smell alone sickens me, I chalk it up as being one of those things I’m extra sensitive to. That, combined with the fact I really don’t want to know what sort of drunk I’d be, is why I don’t drink. I had to take a winetasting class in school, I always left feeling ill.

5- Other flavors/smells I can’t tolerate include oranges and mint. I have mistaken mint for skunk before because it smells that pungent to me.

6- My gag reflex is so sensitive that the dentist I had as a kid feared me. I had to have my appointment before eating anything, and they used the smaller sized plates for the x-rays an extra year because they did not want me to puke on them. Any non-food object held in my mouth (this includes just holding something in my teeth) will make me gag.

7- I’m a nervous biter. If I’m stressed I’ll bite my lips, fingers, pencils, etc. I stopped biting my lips as much as a kid when they got really badly chapped.

8- I always hated sports as a kid, and continue to not be that interested now. Every time I had to get involved in sports due to PE class, it would end with me getting hit in the head somehow. Basketball? Hit in the head. Soccer? Head blow hard enough to get a concussion. Dodge ball? People throw those dang squishy balls hard enough it really hurts. 

9- I have really wide feet, so wide that women size shoes are just too narrow. There used to be a store that sold wide sized women’s shoes but it closed down years ago. These days I just opt for men sized shoes. Also, wearing shoes too narrow for my feet resulted in my spraining my ankle on several occasions- but I wore them because I was told shoes are supposed to hurt until you wear them in. (my advice, if you have wide feet- get wide shoes. Your ankles will thank you.)

10- When I was younger, I hated that my friends/family called everything I drew cute no matter what I drew. These days I just accept that apparently cute is ingrained into my style. 

11- Hmm, for the final fact... ah! When I was a small child, my imaginary friend was a vampire until I had a dream on of his friends tried to eat me. After that he got replaced by an alien who had accidentally stranded himself on earth by blowing up his spaceship. (20 some years later, my interests appear unchanged XD)

(for the record, I haven’t seen a single episode of The Office. I just agreed that yes, this is very fitting for the blueberry.)

Yo so what got you into the skeleton fandom?

Well, my older sister introduced me to Undertale a couple months after the game came out. I played through the game a few times, fell in love with the characters, then stopped for a while. When I replayed the game again months later I got really really into it, my descent into the fandom started with watching a lot of AMVs and dubbed stuff on youtube- from there looking into the comics and stuff that had been dubbed and finding my way to Tumblr. From there I got pulled in deeper and deeper, joined a stream on a whim and started talking to the people I had been admiring from afar... 

Long story short the fandom lured me in, snagged me, and dragged me in to the deepest depths. And I couldn’t be happier.

If you want to know why I draw what I draw, the story there is I started drawing more fanart because my amazing new friends inspired me and I wanted to make them happy by giving them art. Bonus points because bones are fun to draw.
