Its Funny When People Come To Me And Tell Methats Not What It Was Meant In The Past Oryou Cant Just Change

It’s funny when people come to me and tell me “that’s not what it was meant in the past” or “you can’t just change the meaning of something” 

and like....yes you can. Literally it is within the nature of language and humanity to change with each generation of people. Words, contexts, metaphors, they are constantly changing and evolving. How we understand our world and how we live in it is never the same as it was yesterday.  Yet we have so many people fighting, trying to dig their nails into the past bleeding as they are dragged kicking and screaming into the future. 

They try so hard to deny change, the very thing that makes us human. 

It’s like the embodiment of conservative views. The idea that things are not like the “old values” or “traditions” makes the world bad for some reason. 

Change isn’t inherently bad. Change can be good, or it could be neutral. But no matter what change will happen. So we might as well start living towards the future or die in the past.

I really hate to do this but. I really need new money to pay for my new glasses and moving expenses is hella hard. If yq'll could spare anything that could help make this entire ordeal easier. I'd really appreciate it.
