Michael didn't spare your life because he wanted a sexual relationship. Your body wasn't what he was chasing after. He needed shelter. You were kind (probably not so smart) enough to offer whatever he needed to survive. For a while he only took what he absolutely needed— then he started to toy with you.

Michael has no understanding of personal space for other people. He will follow you around the house like a dog. But he's not acting like a clingy dog, he's acting like a dangerous stray following you in hopes of catching you, to destroy you when you least expect it.

You have every right to assume he wanted something intimate from you— the way he stares and shares his body heat by pressing himself closer than necessary against you is enough to think he felt needy for some kind of sexual release. That's far from the truth.

Michael somehow managed to form some kind of attachment towards you, or at least the dynamic you've created. You offer and he takes. It's convenient and comfortable - it's easy to fall into a pattern.

Time jump to both of you feeling comfortable enough to share a bed. He isn't touchy (at first) he likes to stare, listen to your breathing, wondering if you feel safe so close to him. At first his touches are more like gripping-- he squeezes your wrist, arm, hand, etc.

After he discovers how touch starved he actually is that's when he pushes your boundaries without any warnings. Michael enjoys cuddling in bed more than you think. He wraps himself around you or lays on top of you. Either way you feel constricted like prey.

It's okay to push him away (sometimes) he understands to a point. It all depends on his mood.

His physical affection is nothing near sexual.

Michael genuinely feels deprived of all things considered as affection. He's trying to experience whatever he can handle without harming you due to cute aggression. (He definitely squeezes too hard at times and nips at your neck.)

Sex isn't a necessity in a relationship for a man like him. All he wants is food and shelter. Someone loyal. Don't snitch on him and everything will be fine.

He probably likes to cuddle nude. Half nude. Whatever you like most is okay with him. (Especially during summer nights, he can't stand the feeling of his own sweat. Heat makes him angry. Unless it's from you. He doesn't care then. He's weird like that.)

* It probably starts out as an argument. Springtrap can be pretty protective of where you go, so one night he might be perfectly fine with you leaving to go somewhere and the next he might get pissy if you won’t tell him where you’re going and he’ll demand you stay. It really just depends on his mood

* Regardless, it’s getting more heated and springtraps just about had enough so he grabs ur wrist to try to drag you back to his room when a painful cracking sound is heard. He immediately lets go and looks around to see you holding your wrist which is painfully swelling up, your pupils dilated at your eyes dart up to him in fear.

* he tries to reach out for you again but you shriek in pain the moment he accidentally touches the injury as you stumble back, your widened eyes staring in fear of the 8 foot animatronic looming over you. He’s never hurt you before and sure, he might be a bit protective and dangerous, but you knew Springtrap would never lay a finger on you until now.

* Springtrap want’s to comfort you, he really does, but every time he comes closer you only sob in fear and back away from him until your back is pressed against the wall. He’s at a loss of what to do, and his eyes are filled with guilt and regret when he looks at you, before he hurries off to a different room. Probably under your bed where he always hides.

* When you call the ambulance and you go to the ER, Springtrap stays under your bed until the door slams, the sirens fade into the distance, and the house becomes quiet again. Too quiet.

* He crawls out from his hiding place, calling your name a few times gently before he starts to panic and he looks all around the house, still calling your name but with alarm and a bit of fear in his voice. He becomes totally convinced that you left him because of what he did to you and he’d be alone again like he was before, causing him to go into a panic attack and hide in your room in a secluded corner. He drags up some of your clothes and other objects that have your scent or you own and makes a strange nest with him that he rests in to try and bring him some comfort while he takes in your scent, your aura, and some past traces of your presence, letting him fall into a somewhat peaceful rest as he still waits hopefully for you to come back.

* When you finally get back from the hospital with your arm in a cast and the jingling and first few steps from you entering the house startle Springtrap, he quickly crawls up from his nest he made and dashes toward the door as best as he can to see you, and relief fills his old, decaying remains of a heart. He approaches you somewhat excitedly to hug you, only to fall back upon seeing you flinch and the cast your wrist is in. He hesitates, his eyes darting up to yours uncertainly until you nod, giving him the okay that its fine for him to touch you.

* He quickly leans down to your height, gently hugging you toward his body the best he can while still being mindful of your injury. It takes him a while to move past what happened, since he was more hesitant to touch you and whenever you moved backward or hesitated when he made a sudden movement toward you he’d immediately draw back from you with regret flickering in his eyes.

* After a while, probably a month after the incident, he loses these habits and slowly but surely goes back to being normal and being able to not have to look at you questioningly for permission to touch you. He’s still wary of hurting you and whenever he grabs you or holds you, he makes sure his grip is loose enough for you to not get hurt, but not enough to escape.
