Gonna Casually Bring Up A Character Reaction I Remember Seeing In An Analysis Post
Gonna casually bring up a character reaction I remember seeing in an analysis post
Y’all remember that scene where Kankri comes to Cronus’s defense about something (I don’t remember exactly what it was about, don’t @ me) and Cronus is like “hey man, no, you don’t gotta do that”?
I personally think this is one of the most genuine moments we get from either of them out of everything we’ve seen, and also one of the few moments when we see them interacting with one another
So anyways, I’m weak for Beforan headcanons (especially anything about pre-game stuff)-
Thinking about the Alpha trolls dead is actually pretty sad. Their coping mechanisms, being forgotten after everything they’d been through (and not getting any part in the Ultimate Reward won from the Alpha kids session)… Aranea’s and Meenah’s fights to stay relevant… it’s heavy.
Something that really sticks for me is how, in the dreambubbles, they’ve built up these walls and facades over the course of eternity that have left them stagnant, spinning their wheels in ruts they’ll never get out of. Maybe this was intentional on Hussie’s part, maybe it wasn’t and they’re really just that 1-dimensional, but that’s how I absorbed it.
Porrim, however, seems a bit more… present? If that’s the word? I don’t know if it has to do with being the Maid of Space or what but like she’s trying to have deep conversations with her friends, but it’s just about as fruitful as slamming her head against a wall repeatedly.
When talking to Kankri in Openbound, she gets kind of exasperated with him? He keeps coming back to all the issues they dealt with on Beforus, some issues that are hardly relevant on Alternia, let alone either iteration of Earth (and not just any one specific conversation). At one point, he outright says “I just don’t want to distract from all the more glaring issues that desperately need the full attention of our people if we are going to make any progress as a civilization,” and Porrim delivers what feels like it should have been a powerful “EVERYONE IS DEAD!!!” Kankri, of course, without hesitation, just responds in his usual manner. He’s blocked out everything that could hurt him, has taken up this purpose of trying to solve issues (in his own way) that don’t even matter anymore.
Again, when Porrim talks to Latula, she comes off as oblivious. Apparently, she didn’t even know much of anything about her post-scratch life, which is fault on her own part. If she was interested, she could have easily learned the story, if not from Terezi (post-retcon, most likely), than someone else. But, Porrim tells her the troubling tale, and she listens somewhat attentively.
In the end, Latula’s just kinda “Huh, that makes sense!” to Porrim’s confusion. When she inquires further, the answers Latula give are, “It just does, babez,” and “Try being a Mind player,” which are, perhaps, the most vague and nondescript answers possible. And she can’t even back it up, because when Porrim asked if she could explain it to her, it was a clear “Nope!” disguised as a “Check out this outstanding healflip!”
Later, Latula does open up to Porrim a bit more, lets the rad girl getup fall away a bit, and she just seems… sad. Sad and tired.
I could talk about each and everyone of them (especially the circles Rufioh and Horuss run around in) but this post is already gonna be long smh

I’m literally crying why are all the reblogs on this so funny
the lowblood alpha trolls are just the scooby gang like rufioh = fred damara = daphne kankri = velma mituna = shaggy meulin = scooby doo
Who Would Win in a Fight
Me vs MCYT
Tommy:
-100% chance of victory
-yes he's tall but I don't think he's ever been in an actual fight
-also he's clumsy
-easy victory
Tubbo:
-80% chance of victory (if we do fight)
-I don't want to fight Tubbo he seems cool
-again probably doesn't have much fight experience
-i would end up having to fight both Tubbo AND tommy bc of course tommy would jump in
-Big Crime might curbstomp me though
Technoblade:
-75% chance of victory (controversial but let me explain)
-tall yes but this man spends so much time gaming that his body is probably slowly breaking down
-he probably would let me win out of laziness but in the off chance he decides to start an anime training arc I'm getting destroyed
Wilbur Soot:
-25% chance of victory
-might let me win to get it over with
-is significantly taller than me so he could just step on me
-seems like he has internalized rage but so do i
-there is no winner vs loser it's whoever survives
Jschlatt:
-0% chance of victory
-he would push me down the nearest flight of stairs before the fight even started
Quackity:
-0% chance of victory
-i would sacrifice myself so he would automatically win
Dream:
-5% chance of victory
-we've seen his body and we know he's tall this is a definite loss for me
-his florida man vibes give him a 10% damage boost
-might attract the rest of the dream team to come watch and then they would make fun of me and I would lose just from the stress
Sapnap:
-30% chance of victory
-he sets off my fight instincts I want to beat him up so bad
-we know he's run from the cops but so have I so in terms of speed we are probably equal
-idk I just don't think I'm winning but I would still enjoy the experience
George:
-50% chance of victory
-i don't want to fight George
-he seems more likely to run away than to fight but that just means I would have to chase him down
-i feel like one quick hit to the knees and he's on the ground
BadBoyHalo:
-0% chance of victory
-he just has to shoot me
-i feel like this is self-explanatory
Skeppy:
-0% chance of victory
-BBH would come help him and then boom I've been shot
Imagine taking a hike and stumbling across that

See I’ve thought of this too! I’ve seen a few headcanons floating around that they just disappear once they’re forgotten, and I for one buy into it.
Going off of that and your theory, I think that’s why they all stuck together. Even after all those years and fights and breakups, they stuck together. They could have easily left each other alone at ANY time (and potentially just separate into another dream bubble) but they didn’t.
