They’re only for New Year’s Eve. The shiny Merkel is very rare and can only be spotted on the 31st of December.

Last song I listened to: Was “A Real Hero” by Electric Youth, College. It reminded me of a road trip I did with some friends during the summer and how nice that was!

Last film I watched: I’m pretty sure it was some Rosamunde Pilcher thing. Don’t come at me! Reality can be cruel and we all deserve some Happy Endings. Even if they’re badly written, lol.

Show I’m watching: Just finished the second season of “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” on Netflix one more time. I love this show with all of my heart, so I’d totally recommend watching it. Also, I started watching “Feel Good” again, which is quite good as well. And it’s gay, so

Books I’m reading: “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”. For the first time, surprisingly. Haven’t seen the movies either. But I quite like it.

Mit diesem Satz beantwortet Axel Prahl in einem Interview 2016 die Frage, ob in Thiels Leben irgendwann noch einmal eine Frau vorkommen würde. Es ist ein Beispiel von vielen, in denen die Schauspieler:innen über die Folgen hinaus Anspielungen auf eine mögliche homosexuelle Beziehung zwischen dem Hauptkommissar Frank Thiel und dem Rechtsmediziner Karl-Friedrich Boerne machen (oder gar ihren Darstellern Jan Josef Liefers und Axel Prahl selbst).

Ein Essay, in dem ich nachvollziehe, weshalb das als Queerbaiting gewertet werden kann und warum niemandem damit geholfen ist, wenn sich zwei heterosexuelle Männer als queer darstellen.

Me, looking at the fic after reading back through it four times and literally only switching two words around, adjusting one line of dialogue, and maybe exchanging one word for a synonym: Yes, much better. Thank god I did that or it would have been horrible. I'm so embarrassed that anyone read this previous to the *obviously* important adjustments I just made.
