As a genre, angst always has a way of pulling on your heartstrings and evoking powerful emotions. It’s one of the less written for genres because of this. Not everyone can handle the pain of losing the one you love most or the slow torture of coughing up flowers that grow in your lungs.

If you’re one of those people then these stories aren’t for you. I wanted to create a collab that celebrated angst at its finest. I’ve compiled twelve of the most heartwrenching angst themes and twelve extremely talented authors to help me with my mission, and we have worked hard to do each one justice.

“Hyunjin, do you know why I’ve called you here?” You asked, leaning forward onto your desk, watching as the boy in front of you nervously played with his own fingers

“I don’t,” He admitted, but he knew there was something wrong, he could tell

“You accidentally called me last night,” You stated, and Hyunjin cocked his head

“I accidentally called you…?” He repeated in confusion

“You did,” You confirmed, standing up “I assume you probably said my name, and your phone picked it up as a call- something along those ridiculous lines,”

“Oh- I’m sorry for any inconvenience-”

“I wasn’t done, Hyunjin,” You walked over to the boy “You called me while you were masturbating,”

Hyunjin’s eyes widened, first in surprise, then fear. His breathing seemed to have stopped, and he remembered- he was saying your name while touching himself last night.

“I-I’m so sorry,” He somehow stuttered out, voice shaky, unsure of what else he could do

“Don’t apologise,” You soothed, but Hyunjin didn’t look at you, his ears were unbelievably red “I thought it was cute,”

“Cute?” He asked, gulping, suddenly realising what you were implying when you leaned in closer to him, your lips barely an inch away from his

You smirked before pressing your lips to Hyunjin’s. He didn’t react immediately, but when he did, you pulled away, much to the boy’s disappointment.

“You’re hard,” You stated, looking down to the bulge in Hyunjin’s black pants

He said nothing, instead choosing to whimper when you started rubbing him. You turned the boy around and pushed him against the front of your desk, rubbing his growing bulge harder.

“I can’t wait to hear those pretty moans you were making last night in person,” You said, whispering the words into his ear, and Hyunjin shivered
