*Note: I haven't actually changed any of the Chestnut Ridge builds because the builders were amazing for that pack; however, I will probably update in future with some of my own builds.

How to install:

1. Backup your existing saves.

2. Follow the link to the Google Drive download and save the file onto your computer.

3. Unzip the file (I recommend using 7-Zip, if you don’t have an unzip programme already installed) and place the file into your saves folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves).

4. Open your game and you’ll find a save called ‘lostinsophie save 2.0’.

5. Get to exploring! I hope you enjoy this save file as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it the last few years. It’s been a labour of love and I’m so excited to finally share it with the Simming community.

Pastel Plumbob Legacy Challenge

This is a 6 generation legacy challenge focused on all creative aspirations. I love the creative side of the sims and thought this would be a fun challenge. It is also a color-based challenge like not so berry, but pastel hence the name of the challenge 😉

The rules are simple, have fun with it!

Unlocking lifestyles is optional 

For the first generation, you must start with an adult(female) and an infant(either gender)(will be the next generation heir).

One of the rules for generation 6 is to paint portraits of each heir from referencing a photo, so make sure you take a portrait-style picture for each heir as an adult.

Generation one - BABY PINK

You and your boyfriend of 3 years just moved into the house you bought together. You find out you’re pregnant, your boyfriend says he’s as happy as could be, but then one week before the baby is born he leaves in the middle of the night and you wake up to a letter saying “I’m not ready for this, I have to go. Don’t coming looking for me.” 1 year later(the baby is 3 months old), you are now a single mother who loves singing songs to your baby and knitting clothes for your close-knit friend group(1 BFF and your child).

Aspiration- Lady of the Knits

Career- Sell all crafts on plopsy

Traits- Creative, Cheerful, Loyal (optional. neat, good)

Lifestyles- Close-knit, Single and lovin’ it

Generation two - MINT

You grew up very clingy, you never wanted to be away from your mom, she was all you knew. You were always jealous someone would take her away. You put all your rage and anger of not knowing your dad into working out and bettering yourself. You love creating things with your mom but you want to make more functional items that could be used for more than just wearing. You open your own business selling homemade candles and furniture, there you meet the love of your life and you love your children more than anything.

Aspiration- Master Maker

Career- Freelance crafter (this is your business)

Traits- Creative, Maker, Jealous (optional. family-orientated, vegetarian)

Lifestyles: Energetic, Health food nut

Rules:

Master Fabrication and Handiness Skills (Optional. gardening skill)

Name each child after nature

Generation three - PEACH

Your parents always told you to eat healthily and live a simple life. But you didn’t just want to be simple, you wanted to be an actor/actress. You had all the boxes checked off, great looks, great personality, great charisma. You had it all. Maybe not the brains but somehow you made it big! You love being able to work when you want and LOVE going on vacations to the hottest spots in the world.

Aspiration- Master Actor/Actress

Career- Actor/Actress

Traits- Creative, Self-absorbed, Outgoing (optional. bro, self-assured)

Lifestyles- People Person, Frequent Traveler

Rules:

Master Acting and Charisma skills

Reach level 10 of career

Have only one child

Marry a coworker

Generation four - LAVENDER

You are the total opposite of your parents. You don’t want everyone to know everything about your personal life. Your computer is your world and writing screenplays became a favorite of yours ever since your parents took you to work with them once and you loved the thought of creating a story and others acting it out. You also really love programming.

Aspiration- Bestselling author

Career- Decide between Writer/Freelance Writer/Self Publisher

Traits- Creative, Paranoid, Bookworm (optional. geek, cat/dog lover)

Lifestyles- Indoorsy, Techie, Sedentary

Read 10 unique books through generation

If alive when your spouse dies, bring them back to life.

Generation five - BABY BLUE

Ever since you were a teen you would always stay up way past your bedtime drinking coffee and learning more about music. You loved playing music for your parent’s musicals and plays. You knew it was your calling in life and as soon as you become a young adult you and your partner left home to get married, start a family, and join a band(entertainment career). Everything was going great until one dark, rainy night the tour bus driver couldn’t see clearly and lost control of the wheel, everyone was fine other than your spouse. You lost everything, even the music, so you moved back to your parents’ house and raised your kids there. You eventually found your love for music again and wrote songs about your life.

Aspiration- Musical Genius

Career- Entertainment career THEN quit when spouse dies to join the fast-food part-time job as an adult THEN as an elder sell songs you write

Traits- Creative, Music Lover, Gloomy (optional. family-oriented, perfectionist)

Lifestyles- People Person,  Coffee Fanatic

Rules:

Finish Aspiration

Master any musical instrument and Writing skills

Leave home as a young adult and return when your spouse dies

Have 3 kids before spouse dies

Go on a picnic every Sunday with family

Generation six- YELLOW

One of your parents died at a young age. You didn’t know how to feel. You weren’t sad but you weren’t happy. You left home as a teen and dropped out of school. You threw all your time into art and food. You decided not to have children, but that didn’t stop you from finding the love of your life and being together forever.

Aspiration- Painter Extraordinaire

Career- Decided between Painter (either branch)/Freelance painter/Sell paintings on plopsy/Sell to museum or collector

Traits- Creative, Art Lover, Foodie (optional. ambitious, clumsy)

Lifestyles- Workaholic, Hungry for love

Rules:

Finish aspiration

If chosen the painter career, reach level 10

Master Painting and Gourmet Cooking skills

Paint portraits of all heirs from a reference of photos taken throughout the legacy

I had a blast working with @simplyrockie to create these infographics for her Legacy Chronicles Challenge! She wanted each one to look like pages in a diary or journal, which I had a lot of fun with.
