“Sadly I’m not a person like you or Cullen,” Anders will say deadpan, two years later, as he lights the bedroom fire with magic.

“You should all stop using magic, then you can be people like me or Cullen,” Hawke hollers over his shoulder at his friends, and throws a group of templars 100 ft in the air with force magic as he leads them through the Gallows.

solas and Ghilara in a better world then yes they would have been wonderful parents unfortunately the world wants to traumatise them constantly but they both made the best choice for their child in my canon shirala is born just after inquisition but both Ghilara and solas know that them raising her would be a bad idea cause war cause no support network etc so they made the best choice they could for their child in the circumstances given to them and that was letting Merill and hawke raise the kid oc: ghilara lavellan
