In from if the walks Shallan in her white coat, throwing suspicious and interested glances at the vegetation. In front are Adolin and Kaladin, with Maya packe between them. Adolin holds her hand causally while saying something to Kaladin and looking into the direction they are heading. Kal is in uniform, carrying a second harpoon, and bag strapped over one shoulder and across his chest. Adolin wears fashionably adapted lighteyes clothes and a rucksack on his bag. Both men sport proper beginnings to a beard.

T. Kingfisher's romantic subplot dynamics are almost always "middle aged practical woman with a major failed relationship in her past meets buff polite guilt-riddled hunk of a man", and ya know what I respect that

Wait hold on.

In the "You enjoyed it, didn't you?" scene, if you're playing as male, you can say "A gentleman never tells" and I assume if you play as female you say "A lady never tells."

But if you play as nonbinary, you go "You'll never get me to admit it."

Which is like. A bajillion times funnier. Not even coquettish or anything. Just "You'll never catch me alive!!!"
