I should add a “currently working on” thing to my pinned post so I can remember what I’m supposed to be writing-

I wonder who at NRC would give the best hugs. Kalim would definitely be up there. I have a sneaking suspicion Vil and Riddle would also give surprisingly good hugs. Deuce and Silver as well maybe?

ooh, okay. I have THOUGHTS about this!! most people will fit into more than one category.

How they hug:

Absolute god-tier hugs (the most comforting and warm hugs E V E R)

Deuce, Trey, Leona, JACK, Azul?, Kalim, Jamil, Vil, Rook, Ortho?, Lilia, Silver, Sebek

Gentle hugs (make you feel safe. so safe.)

Riddle, Trey, Cater, Jack, Azul, Jade?, Jamil, Vil, Rook, Malleus, Silver, Sebek

TIGHT hugs (good for grounding or for when you need a good squeeze, but can be a little intense)

Ace, Deuce, Ruggie, Leona?, FLOYD, Jade?, KALIM, Epel, Idia, Ortho?, Lilia, Sebek (again)

Kinda awkward hugs (probably hesitant. they maybe feel weird about hugging you, or are worried about hurting you. probably better during the hug than before it)

RIDDLE, Deuce, Trey, Jack, Azul, Jamil, IDIA, Malleus, Silver?, Sebek

Casual hugs (likely in congratulations, also includes usually doing side hugs)

ACE, Deuce, Cater, Ruggie, Leona?, Floyd, Jade?, Kalim, Epel, Ortho?, Lilia

these aren't in the order of which they apply, but I did emphasize those who I think the category applies most to

Jade is an enigma to me, as is Sebek. I think the way they hug depends on if they're putting thought into it, or if they're relaxed (comfy Jade would be a tight hugger, comfy Sebek would be a gentle hugger, I think?)

Ortho probably would give the most precise, perfect hugs. He's also made of mostly metal, though...

Azul's hugs would be great, unless he felt awkward about it. his awkward hugs would be STIFF and weirdly formal, same with Riddle's and Sebek's

brain is fried but Octavio’s cover of Hollow Hunger sustains me

Hehe I’m glad you liked it!! I think Floyd absolutely would be godly at shooter/pvp games. He likes hearing people game rage when he kicks their butt, but something less murder-y he wouldn’t be good at?

I feel like they or other students would put money on who wins too lol. Azul definitely started the trend and bets regularly but loses more than he’d like. Floyd will threaten or bribe people to support him if he overhears and Jade is probably the safest bet.

I also think they’d take it in turns to offer prizes too. Jade offers mushrooms but gets vetoed every time so he brings other snacks. Floyd offers random things he appropriates from students and Azul offers things like discounts or no washing dishes for a week. The tweels fight hardest for that one lol

Imagine having a video games night with Octavinelle-

Azul keeps losing to Jade and demanding rematches and Jade kicks his butt every single time

It’s your first time playing whatever game this is and so Jade continuously loses to you on purpose to annoy Azul

Azul tries to beat you but you somehow actually kick his butt and now he’s sulking

Floyd keeps wanting to play and getting given an unplugged controller which he keeps biting because it’s not working

You can’t play team games because Floyd is an agent of chaos and switches sides every two seconds

I love all the dorms but it’d be so much fun to play games with Octavinelle especially-

buddy, don't apologize!! this is a FANTASTIC thought!!

the twins are such chaos monsters; they would absolutely do things that cause the most upheaval possible, just to make it "fun" for them. I also feel like Floyd would either be at a profession-level of playing, or full-on button mashing - no in-between!

plus, they're all SO COMPETITIVE (depending on their moods and such), so they would make a games night into a high intensity thing, no matter if it had any sort of prize or not.

I just love this little scenario so much ♡
