Haven’t seen anyone bring this up, but did Alador and Odalia make an agreement that as long as Alador dedicated himself to his work (or do entirely as she said or something) she wouldn’t make the kids work at Blight industry’s.

Like, Damn. And Alador apparently used to have a team, maybe Odalia isolated him so he wouldn’t get any ideas.

Also I believe that in escaping expulsion when Odalia tries to go against the deal with Luz, Alador says “a blight always upholds their end of the bargain/deal” maybe he wasn’t talking about the one she made with Luz ,but the one she made with him.
