Is Jimin's nest in the basement? What is it like? Does it stay the same as in The Pitfalls of Silk?

Can his mate put blankets and pillows in it? Fairy lights? Is it cosy?

OOO!! This is such a fun question, I love world building so much!! okie let's hope I don't get too rambley--

I'm assuming this is in regard's to the drabble so his nest is the same as described in TPOS! It's mostly described in the second to last scene of the fic :D It is located in the basement as his particular breed of spider (Cobalt Blue Tarantula) build their webs in more of a burrow style, so underground is just more comfortable for him :D

His burrow can be described as really soft-- his species is known for webbing/ creating large burrows so that carries over! He's covered all the flooring and walls in his webs. Along the walls he likes to create art with his webs as well, making them almost look like murals. He has webs sectioning off different parts of the basement as well (they look more like the traditional "spider" type of web and can be a bit confusing to navigate through, so you need his help the first few times, lmao). I feel like the type of nest he builds really just depends on his mood! He learned from lots of different spiders growing up, so there isn't one particular style he's more fond of then the others.

His main 'nest' is in one of the back corners of the basement. I imagine it more enclosed kind of-- off the ground, almost looking like a jumping spiders web but bigger, if that makes sense? The opening starts out as large, but as he wants you to leave his nest less and less, the more he'll almost neurotically make it smaller, lol. So, like a hammock type of shape, off the ground in the corner, and BIG!!

It is very cozy inside! Well-- to him at least. But he doesn't normally sleep with pillows or blankets or anything! He just considers it a human thing. But, if you were to bring your own things into his nest, he might just go a little crazy lmao. He would absolutely adore it-- his spider would praise you non-stop in his head. Talking about breeding and all of that. How pretty his mate is, how she wants to be his forever. Making his web a home. How lovely she is. Everything.

His eyes are very sensitive to light, so as long as the fairy lights aren't too bright I think he'd be fine with them! He typically uses candles to light the basement himself, so hanging them around the burrow might be lovely for him :> He probably wouldn't want them in his main "sleeping" nest though, just cause he has trouble sleeping with light :< Anything else is fine and he would absolutely love. Although Jimin can be soft yandere, I bet he can get super super jealous. Smile at the pizza guy or wave to the mailman/woman, he would hate it.

Oh yeah, no definitely. While Taehyung is honestly a lot more laid back and doesn't show his jealousy, Jimin is so clear with it that it almost makes you feel insane. Like you're the crazy one for tipping the guy at the local coffee shop. His gaslighting would be crazy

God and don't even think about what would happen if you shook your supervisors hand at a company lunch. First would come the silent treatment, then the sadness, then the anger. Yeah, you'd be fucked <33 Making it up to him for months <33 But honest!! He just needs assurance. Needs to know just how much you love him :(( Because he loves you so much. He could never live without you, you know?

And he says what everyone says-- that he trusts you, of course he trusts you. But he doesn't trust them. How could he trust them? The others? He never knows which one of them want to steal you away. What they could do to you. It's better to stay away from them. You only need him, don't you? How can you exist without breathing him in like he's your lifeforce? How can you do it so easily when it's impossible for him to?

Tbh, most of my fics can only rlly be described as soft yandere is because we're in the readers pov most of the time LMAO Like Bound By Blood would have been a much darker fic if I wrote the entire thing from Tae's pov 😭😭

Pookie I live in australia and ever since I’ve read the spider!Jimin AU, I started talking briefly to spiders 😭😭 I saw a huntsman the other day outside my laundry door (a quick google search would show you how MASSIVE they are) and I went “damn. If Jimin is here as my mate he would’ve talked to you and told you how much he loves me.” 😭😭😭

I can just imagine him laying all cute in his web, a spider on his finger or crawling up his hand as he just prattles on and on about how much he loves you. Giggling and kicking his feet like an anime girl with a crush ASJDSB He would be so utterly lovestruck like--

"--God, and she was just the cutest today, you know? She was singing in the garden while weeding, swaying her hips so pretty." He sighs, his mind slipping away so easily to the scene. He wishes he could slip back to that moment-- slip back to every little happy moment with you. "And! She even asked for my help! Okay, maybe didn't ask. But she was whining about the squash bugs and I helped anyway."

He smiles, placing his head against his forearm, watching as the arachnid scales his other appendage. It's adorable little legs tickling the hair of his wrist. He often wonders what it would be like to have that many arms, if you would still think he was pretty. If you would let him touch you like that.

Ah, no. He shakes his head, the grin never leaving his lips as he dismisses the thought.

"And, she even gave me a kiss as a reward. The best kind where she's a little shy about it and acts like she didn't want it as much as she did." He giggles, his fangs pressing into the skin of his lower lips. "We both know, what she wants, don't we? . . . Oh! And then! Earlier when we were at the store--"

And in truth, that spider he's talking to doesn't want to be there ASJSDN he's just sitting around because he knows he'll get food out of it in the end for listening to him LMAO.

Safe to say that the spiders know for a fact he can't shut up about you. It's adorable, especially when you walk in on him doing it. Like the blush he's get on his cheeks MAAANNN

But please I'm so glad my fic has still been bringing happiness to your life especially in the small ways!!! I talk to all animals too, especially spiders for my senior thesis and whenever I go into the lab to feed them I can't help but think that Jimin would get so jealous even though they're literal spiders 😭 LMAO
