If you ask Taehyung himself, he would probably look at you like you’re crazy. He’d easily spin the narrative, making it about your lack of trust in him. Making you feel guilty about bringing up rumours of the past when you have him now. How could you possibly focus on anything else but that fact? How could you doubt your trust in him? His devotion to you?
That simply won’t do.
He’d look at you, hurt evident in his eyes. Almost as if he was disgusted with the mere notion, “You question my faith to you? You question our love?”
He would scoff from his throne, legs spread as he looks up at you— something unwritten on his features, “I’m honestly disappointed in you, lamb. So, so disappointed. You trust the word of the maids over me? You trust the word of the maids over our life? What else might you take their word in? Tell me.”
He would retire the entire palace staff if he needs to, honestly. But then again, he would do anything for you.
If you were able to ask his closest confidant, Jimin, he would tell you every word others speak is true.
But in Taehyung’s defence! He tells himself, implants the tiny seed in his mind, it was all for you. You’re the reason he does anything, after all. Maybe even the reason he breathes.
The only reason he messed with the other maids was because of you. Because for just a moment he could pretend he was fucking you instead. Cute little apron pushed up around your hips, nails digging into your socks— not theirs.
He would never look at their faces after he takes them to bed either. He could imagine yours so much easily then.
It was only afterwards that he realised Annabell was your close friend. He’s not very good at paying anyone much mind, save for you, of course. He figured that push come to shove— if she were to try and keep you two apart, he could easily claim that it was out of jealousy on her behalf. But he doubts it would ever come to that. Do they stay there, do they have babies/how does that even work? 😳 does she meet all the others. How does a human survive in the reserve. Could his vemon kill her? Does it? So many questions....

I’ll try to answer all your questions without giving away any spoilers!! You never know what might happen in the future 🤭 Apologies in advance bc this got long 😭 So far my plans are for them to be one-shots with drabbles whenever they’re requested, but at the same time I do have plans for a sequel to Jimin’s story once I finish the others!! I might write sequels for the other stories too, I’m just not sure yet!! But hopefully <33
Now on to Jimin~ hybrids and humans (in my universes) can have kids! It’s more difficult, especially depending on species, but still possible! And trust me when I tell you— Jimin’s spider genes just scream that he wants a big family. So many cute little spiderlings to teach, have them learn all about the world and how to be a good spider just like Jimin. The human side of Jimin doesn’t care as much— he’s happy with just one kid he can love and care for. Build a nice and happy home with you. Give them all the love the reserve employees raised him with.
He’s going to get pouty either way, unfortunately 😭 it’s just in his nature okay! Especially when you have to explain to him that normally humans can only have one kid at once. It’s common for most hybrid species to have more than one, but it makes no difference. He’s still going to love your kids either way. No matter how many you have, he’s going to be the best spider dad <33
Jimin isn’t exactly sure the effect his venom would be on humans. He knows Yoongis’ (a scorpion) is toxic and could severely harm someone but… there are only rumours about what his can do. Some of his friends say it can act as almost an aphrodisiac, others say that it can act as a sedative, nothing about it being deadly though. Something about spiders not being created with the intent to harm like scorpions were. He doesn’t know! He’ll have to ask around because he really, really wants to bite you. It’s something that itches at the back of his skull, honestly. Constantly nagging him.
Mm, I think that’s all of them I can answer for right now!! Oh, except I can say that the only humans meant to live on the reserve are employees— they have cabins closer to the visitors center that they live in while working! Other humans can visit and camp like other nature reserves in designated locations. Trying to live there would be illegal! So… don’t get caught :D (by humans or hybrids ajdjdj) this will be expanded more in Jungkook’s story dw <33

Oh god. Oh god what is that– that thing?!
If your eyes were a second slower, they would’ve missed it. If your reaction speed was just a feather more hesitant you would’ve never noticed the massive creeping brown arachnid skittering across your floor. Legs longer than you’ve ever seen, a massive thorax sticking high in the air making it look all the more menacing, as if it was actually threatening you. As if it had its sights set on you.
The yelp that tears through your throat makes its way out faster than you can stop it, your body jumping high as it tries to scramble on the kitchen counter– plant itself high off the ground, away from where the predator lurks. Ready to do… do whatever it was thinking of doing… yeah.
Okay, maybe you don’t exactly know what its plans were, but they can’t be any good! Not when it was moving towards your foot like, like that! When your boyfriend is nowhere to be seen, hiding away, sulking in the basement, pretending the food you're cooking doesn’t smell as amazing as it does.
Sure, you can handle the small spiders– the little ones that appear as no more than dark spots in the corners you can’t see. The ones that cohabitate peacefully, giving you your space and keeping theirs. Two lives nearby yet never crossing paths. But the big ones, the big ones are a struggle no matter how hard you try to adapt. Especially when they move so close to you, disrupting the peaceful environment you’ve created.
Jimin normally handles this, is normally the expert on dealing with 8-legged creatures you’d rather not share your domain with. But right now, he’s nowhere to be found. A disagreement only a few hours ago putting a halt on all communication with him. Rather feeling the urge to stew in your own feelings.
But now, right this very second, you could not give less of a shit about the petty argument. Can’t even remember the cause of it in the first place. The only thing you do know is the rush of adrenaline through your veins, the way your eyes lock onto the predators on the floor. The way it takes slow steps in your direction, moving ever so slowly to where you sit pressed on the kitchen counter, lettuce in hand– the perfect defence.
If you truly believed what Jimin told you about his ability to talk to spiders, if you thought any deeper about them then you do right now– you would think that it’s actually mocking you in the way it steps. Each slow, careful movement as it keeps its eyes locked on yours deliberate and teasing.
Fucking prick.
“Jimin!” Your voice calls before you can stop it, another yelp leaving your lips as you helplessly toss your leaf of lettuce at the mighty beast, completely and utterly missing. It’s almost ironic, really, that the biggest spider of all is the only one that can save you at this moment.
No more than a second passes before you hear his legs bounding up the stairs, scurrying as fast as he can to meet you. To see what the problem may be. Faux nerves taking over his being as he hears the fear in your tone, calling for him. Wanting him above anybody else.
He wants to laugh once the scene in the kitchen comes into frame. He really does. He almost feels bad for it, honestly, but you just look so cute as you try to struggle away, eyes not leaving the arachnid below.
But he’s supposed to be your knight in shining armour. He can coo over how adorable his mate is later.
“Pretty? What happened?” He asks in a hurry, concern buried deep in his tone as he quickly approaches your shaking form. Arm reaching out, gently taking one of your hands in his own. He brings it to his face, using your palm to cup his cheek as he presses a gentle kiss into the surface, gaze burning with worry over your tied expressions.
You wish you could say you were soothed, that his presence alone brought peace to your quivering heart but it couldn't. Now that the predator was out of your vision, blocked by the very man you called for, you couldn’t be more alarmed. Your body twisting against him, head trying to poke past him to see the beast still lingering nearby.
“Min! Min there’s a spider! You have, it’s going to eat me!” You shout, pointing over his shoulder with the other hand. How could he not see how urgent this is! This is a matter between life and death!
The gentle annoyance that finds its way into his veins is quickly washed away, discarded into his brain for later. The only mention of it being the quiet narrow of his eyes, ever so slight that no one would notice it. How could you still be concerned over a little spider when he is right in front of you, saving you?
Did you forget that he is a predator, too? He can’t believe he’s jealous of a spider right now.
Mmm, but he knows how humans can be. When they get all scared like this they can’t help themselves but to clamp up, frozen out in fear. One of the reasons he never wanted to be the cause of it. The misfortune that bespoke your mind every waking minute. No, he wanted to be the sunshine on a beautiful day, a field of flowers to dance in. Maybe even a handsome prince on a horse, ready to carry you away.
So that is exactly what he’ll be.
Soft eyes looking up into your own, half lidded and dangerous with affection, “Well that just won’t do, will it?” He pouts, lower lip jutted out in a cute expression that can’t help but take your breath away. Mince your mind in half, one side still focusing on the obvious threat while the other causes your heart to pound. Causes a fluttering to erupt from deep within.
Your pretty boyfriend spins on his heels, placing his hands on his hips and puffing out his chest in a manner that can only be described as the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. His cheeks blown out in much the same way, forcing your brain to think about nothing else other than kissing him.
“Now listen here!” He tuts, admonishing the spider. Somehow, he even seems to make glaring cute. “You better leave my pretty mate alone! This is my territory so unless you wanna mess with me, I suggest you leave.” He huffs, yet can’t hide the playful undertone in his words, only half serious.
You know he probably isn’t taking you seriously. Can never truly understand your fear of the same arthropod you're dating. And you know the spider probably doesn’t even understand a single thing going on– but at the same time you can’t help the battering of butterflies in your stomach at his words. That he’s going these lengths to make you feel protected and safe.
“She doesn’t like you around here, and she’s the most important in the world to me. So, if you don’t leave right now and tell all of your friends you're not welcome around here, I'll have no choice but to do it for you.” The spider takes a hesitant step back, suddenly lowering its body closer to the floor, almost as if…
Shit. Maybe he really can talk to spiders.
“Get out.” And with those final words, the spider quickly turns around and scurries out of the kitchen and into the yard, practically waving a white flag all the way. Your eyes widen in shock, mouth hanging open as your legs drop against the counter walls. Fanning either side of Jimin in his embrace.
A cute smile is on his lips as he turns around– the cocky, proud kind that you normally roll your eyes at. But this time you can’t help but stare at him in shock, blush dusting your cheeks. Even as he leans closer, planting a gentle kiss against your lips as a reward for himself.
“There.” He smiles, hands coming to rest against your thighs. Any thoughts of dinner completely abandoned. He’ll just order take out once he has you in the nest. “All better.”
“How– you, you!” You hesitate against the sound of his adorable giggle, his hands pulling you closer to his body. Legs wrapping around his waist on instinct.
“Mhmm, they won’t come around here anymore. I promise, baby.” He hums, lifting you as if you were nothing more than a stuffed animal clinging against his body. “What do we say when your handsome mate helps you out?”
Your eyes narrow into a glare at his teasing, but you can’t help wrapping further around him. Pulling him close as he ensnares you further into utter devotion. Becoming your safety net against all things scary in the world.
“Thank you.” You grumble quietly, a gentle peck against his too-soft lips given as a token of your appreciation in that moment. Stopping yourself before you melt into the feeling of his fangs pressed against your lips. “I appreciate it Min…”
As you’re finally able to hide your face away in his neck– snuggling against his skin and blocking your vision from any other scary things that might exist in the world, you completely miss the way Jimin tosses a small pile of bugs near the window. The same window that was left open just a crack too wide. The same window that he allowed a spider to crawl inside.
The same spider he may have made a deal with.
He hates when you’re mad at him. Hates it more than anything else when you take away the single thing he craves most– you. So could you really, really blame him for hatching a little plan? One he knew would send you into his arms. Make up for your whole little argument in a second.
Never, ever wants to be the cause for your fear. But every once and awhile it can serve a purpose, he supposes. Especially when it gets him out of the dog house. Gets you nestled into his web, watching movies for the night. Curled in his embrace, gentle words and soothing hands warming you.
Is Jimin's nest in the basement? What is it like? Does it stay the same as in The Pitfalls of Silk?
Can his mate put blankets and pillows in it? Fairy lights? Is it cosy?

I'm assuming this is in regard's to the drabble so his nest is the same as described in TPOS! It's mostly described in the second to last scene of the fic :D It is located in the basement as his particular breed of spider (Cobalt Blue Tarantula) build their webs in more of a burrow style, so underground is just more comfortable for him :D
His burrow can be described as really soft-- his species is known for webbing/ creating large burrows so that carries over! He's covered all the flooring and walls in his webs. Along the walls he likes to create art with his webs as well, making them almost look like murals. He has webs sectioning off different parts of the basement as well (they look more like the traditional "spider" type of web and can be a bit confusing to navigate through, so you need his help the first few times, lmao). I feel like the type of nest he builds really just depends on his mood! He learned from lots of different spiders growing up, so there isn't one particular style he's more fond of then the others.
His main 'nest' is in one of the back corners of the basement. I imagine it more enclosed kind of-- off the ground, almost looking like a jumping spiders web but bigger, if that makes sense? The opening starts out as large, but as he wants you to leave his nest less and less, the more he'll almost neurotically make it smaller, lol. So, like a hammock type of shape, off the ground in the corner, and BIG!!
It is very cozy inside! Well-- to him at least. But he doesn't normally sleep with pillows or blankets or anything! He just considers it a human thing. But, if you were to bring your own things into his nest, he might just go a little crazy lmao. He would absolutely adore it-- his spider would praise you non-stop in his head. Talking about breeding and all of that. How pretty his mate is, how she wants to be his forever. Making his web a home. How lovely she is. Everything.
His eyes are very sensitive to light, so as long as the fairy lights aren't too bright I think he'd be fine with them! He typically uses candles to light the basement himself, so hanging them around the burrow might be lovely for him :> He probably wouldn't want them in his main "sleeping" nest though, just cause he has trouble sleeping with light :< Anything else is fine and he would absolutely love. Pookie I live in australia and ever since I’ve read the spider!Jimin AU, I started talking briefly to spiders 😭😭 I saw a huntsman the other day outside my laundry door (a quick google search would show you how MASSIVE they are) and I went “damn. If Jimin is here as my mate he would’ve talked to you and told you how much he loves me.” 😭😭😭

I can just imagine him laying all cute in his web, a spider on his finger or crawling up his hand as he just prattles on and on about how much he loves you. Giggling and kicking his feet like an anime girl with a crush ASJDSB He would be so utterly lovestruck like--
"--God, and she was just the cutest today, you know? She was singing in the garden while weeding, swaying her hips so pretty." He sighs, his mind slipping away so easily to the scene. He wishes he could slip back to that moment-- slip back to every little happy moment with you. "And! She even asked for my help! Okay, maybe didn't ask. But she was whining about the squash bugs and I helped anyway."
He smiles, placing his head against his forearm, watching as the arachnid scales his other appendage. It's adorable little legs tickling the hair of his wrist. He often wonders what it would be like to have that many arms, if you would still think he was pretty. If you would let him touch you like that.
Ah, no. He shakes his head, the grin never leaving his lips as he dismisses the thought.
"And, she even gave me a kiss as a reward. The best kind where she's a little shy about it and acts like she didn't want it as much as she did." He giggles, his fangs pressing into the skin of his lower lips. "We both know, what she wants, don't we? . . . Oh! And then! Earlier when we were at the store--"
And in truth, that spider he's talking to doesn't want to be there ASJSDN he's just sitting around because he knows he'll get food out of it in the end for listening to him LMAO.
Safe to say that the spiders know for a fact he can't shut up about you. It's adorable, especially when you walk in on him doing it. Like the blush he's get on his cheeks MAAANNN

Maybe it's been a long day. Work was trying or just too long in the sun, a mild form of sun stroke. Maybe it's just a bad head day. She needs somewhere quiet, dark, and comforting. His mate takes in the pillows and blanket to curl up in as in a rare moment, Jimin is away for the day.

He would absolutely adore you having a little nap in his nest <//3 He really doesn't understand why humans have such an inclination for mattresses anyway-- it doesn't make much sense to him. Especially when webs can do everything and more. And it's safe to say that he's very proud of his own. It is the same web that got you to accept him, after all.
He wouldn't be able to stop himself from cooing at the sight. Would definitely have to stop himself from wrapping you up in his webs like a piece of his prey, too. Even more so would have to suppress his inner-spider from waking you up with a little surprise (here's a hint: it's one that involves spiderlings and a cabin deep in the woods :<<<< he just wants to take you away already. But he knows he has to wait for the perfect moment :<< )
He would curl himself up next to you, bask entirely in your presence while you nap. Watch your face, memorize all of your cute little expressions while leaving pretty little silks along your legs. Yeah <33 Safe to say he would love it <33
How would Jimin react if you/his mate were hurt? Could be the tiniest paper cut or something life threatening, I think he would freak out either way.
Oh my god he would absolutely lose his mind 😭😭😭 He could never, and I mean NEVER!! stand to see his mate hurt in anyway. Like it would actually send him over the edge. Even if it was something small, it doesn't matter. The cabin preparations have taken long enough, its time to go there immediately.
Or, even if he doesn't do something that dramatic, he'd still keep you tied up in his web for a few days, no questions asked. Making sure you're safe and cared for, that nothing bad could ever happen to you. Giving you all the affection and more than you could ever want or need.
Safe to say that his spider pretty much takes over completely. Acting on pure instinct alone whenever you get hurt. Almost in the same headspace he has right before he was going into his rut, if that makes sense? Just the dazed, doing whatever his brain tells him without thinking things through. No rational.
Tbh its probably bc he hates things that are out of his control-- so even something small would probably cause him to spin out so easily😭😭 It's okay though <33 He just wants you to be safe and protected, yk?

Oh yeah, no definitely. While Taehyung is honestly a lot more laid back and doesn't show his jealousy, Jimin is so clear with it that it almost makes you feel insane. Like you're the crazy one for tipping the guy at the local coffee shop. His gaslighting would be crazy
God and don't even think about what would happen if you shook your supervisors hand at a company lunch. First would come the silent treatment, then the sadness, then the anger. Or they can do much, much perverse things if that's what Jimin so chooses. They can string you up nice and pretty, keeping your arms and legs bound to his webs. Don't know if you still want Jimin thoughts? But I think he'd be a right nightmare with someone whose ticklish. He'd tease and giggle and think it's cute when they got pouty. But he'd never tickle so much they are in tears or begging to stop (unless that was something they wanted) . If they are giggling and happy, he is teasing.

I honest to god think that Jimin might be the biggest tease out there known to man. Nothing can stop him once he sets his mind out on embarrassing you. Nothing can stop him once the gears in his brain start turning-- when he gets that playful little smile on his face. You know the one? Honest to god think that man would do anything to get your face blushing and pouty, tears blurring in the corners of your vision. When he toes the line of your boundaries.
It doesn't matter how mad at him you think you are though. He knows it's not really that serious. A simple kiss and it's all better! His cooing little tone, whining "Ahh~ Jagiya, you know I was just playing around! Don't get so serious on me~ I didn't mean it, you know?" When you both know he did mean it, and he would do it again in a heartbeat. But you forgive his little love every time. <3333

OOO!! You know I've really thought about it a lot :DD While I was writing the story, I was debating on doing single POV or switching back and forth. But since writing the members pov is typically a lot easier for me, I really wanted to challenge myself in writing the majority of it from the readers pov B))
That being said, I've thought about re-writing it from Tae's pov several times and I am very open to doing it. I think it would be so much fun to delve deeper into his headspace since I didn't get to go that much in the original. And like... I know how his brain works and how he thinks but all of the readers don't!! And that makes me sad!! I think it would clear up a lot of things to :DD So I def want to do it down the line. I'm not sure when I'll have the chance to get it done, but do expect it sometime in the future!! I'm not sure whether I want to do a second part of BBB first, or Tae's pov first so... we'll just have to see!!

Because of how cute you made spiders, I managed to step around one today! Normally, I'll freak out or grab the vacuum, but I felt guilty if I killed it, so I just carefully moved and let it be. (It was only lil but it's a big difference) 🥰

Also, just so you know, Jimin is real proud of you, too. I can only imagine how excited he'd be when you run up to him, tell him about how you saw a spider and didn't freak out at all. How you ran right to him to tell him about your little accomplishment. He would be absolutely glowing. His eyes rising up, forming into little crescent moons while a smile overtakes his lips. Pretty fangs hanging down on full display.
He'd praise you so nicely, "Wow!! My mate is so brave!! I didn't know she could handle all of that by herself!" He'd smile, patting your head and brushing you hair down to reward you. "So amazing, you know that? I'm so lucky to have such a great mate." He'd gasp, a cute little pout forming on his lips, "What if you don't need me anymore? What am I gonna do? Quick! Quick y/n, kiss me!!" He'd whine, arms stretched out, chasing you around the house as you try to avoid his affection attack. Spider completely forgotten about in no time <333
i rlly enjoy the way u flesh out the characters in ur stories, like the ocs and members feel so realistic, esp bc u dont use worldbuilding just as a trope but also as a way to further develop ur characters; i esp loved spider!jimin who had all the animalistic, almost creepy traits of a spider while also having a human side that just wanted to make sure oc was happy & not scared of him.
i also enjoy the ocs you’ve written so far, like i think any character u would write would be interesting but the specific headspace of being okay with the boys maybe being less than innocent because of the way the story develops and it feels so comforting nd warm, it scratches smth in my brain where its at least semi realistic but also very specifically what i find attractive. speaking of the sex is hot nd whatever
just overall i love the way your stories come together!!! will be tuning in for whatever u do :D

Worldbuilding is really one of my favourite things to do while writing. I love fleshing out everything and it makes me SO HAPPY THAT YOU LIKE IT TOO!!!!! AHHHH!!!! And im so glad that the way I write my ocs/reader inserts make you feel safe and warm 🥺🥺 I think that while writing, I often slip myself into the same headspace as the reader so I've always hoped that my writing allows people to do the same. I think that yandere's in general are such a fine line to teeter and its so fun finding where some slip off the edge while others remain a float. And just to hear that someone else is enjoying that too makes me feel so warm and happy :DD
