i mean, yes.

Some racist asshole run a muslim family down with his pick-up truck this afternoon in London (Ontario), killing four and leaving only one family member alive. The terrorist was a 20-year old islamophobic dude who targeted muslims and wanted to kill as many of them as possible; when the police arrested him, he was wearing body armor, he had intended to commit more than just murders. There's a 9-year old who lost his family and is in the hospital right now. It's heartbreaking.

Watching Emily struggle with Cristobal brings me joy yet frustrates me at the same time. Like babe you’ve never had to raise your child on your own; if at all and you think you can just fire his caretaker, NAH. Then you wanna get all offended when even your husband says Maria is all Cristobal knows. It’s the truth, you’ve never taken on the responsibility of raising him, and it’s not like she had a reason not to. She chose to get involved with Miguel’s business dealing when she didn’t have to. So when someone comes to confront you and you don’t like it because Maria let them in, you fire her without even thinking twice about your kid. WTF.....and the fact that your own husband had to call in your sister because obviously you need the help, says a lot about the bond (or lack there of) between you and your child.

...Sorry the generations long trend of wealthy white women especially non-working ones (it’s one thing if you have job and have to hire childcare that’s totally fine and justified) having children then leaving them to be raised by us women of color (especially Black and Latina) really grinds my gears. Then they wanna be surprised when they’re unable to deal with their children without us.

The thing that gets me about Piers Morgan is that he thought it was necessary and ok to remove himself from a situation that he didn’t agree with and ultimately felt uncomfortable with, but he could not and still will not accept Harry and Meghan doing the same exact thing for themselves.

Happy to say that Piers Morgan is leaving his show after the horrible things he’s said about Meghan and Harry. How pathetic and weak do you have to be to be so hung up on the fact that a girl didn’t call you back after one outing with her that you then use your show for the next few years to do nothing but say vile, ridiculous things about her. Alex Beresford, thank you for finally speaking up against his hatred. Piers Morgan has finally been put out like the trash he is. Should have been done a long time ago.

Kim Taehyung could not possibly be human. He had to be some sort of government experiment to create the perfect man and see how women reacted. No man could possibly be so sexy. So smart. So successful. So kind. So… perfect. Maybe you were a  bit biased, you had been drooling over V since the first day you’d walked off the elevator to the top floor of Kim Publishing Company.

You were awestruck, taken aback by the vast space with the sparkling sun wafting through the large stained glass window. Gazing out at the skyline with brilliant blue hues, you failed to see V. He was walking backwards, adamantly discussing a new book deal with a prospective client. He turned a split second too late. You looked up a split second too late.

Colliding with his rock hard frame, you felt your whole body shiver in a way you’d never experienced before. His arms instinctively circled around you to keep you from falling, causing your bodies to remain flush against each other. Chills ran straight through you, down to your bones before every inch of your skin that touched his went ablaze.

Time seemed to stand still as you gazed up into his sensual,  deep brown eyes. His plump, wet pink lips rested just inches from yours, stealing all the air from your lungs. Moments passed and neither of you made an effort to release yourselves from each others’ grip. The client cleared their throat uncomfortably, snapping both of you out of your haze.

“Oh my! I’m so sorry! Are you okay? I wasn’t paying attention, the sky looked so pretty from up here and I-“ you rambled before V cut you off, lifting a hand to silence you.

“I’m fine. Are you okay?” he inquired, those deep brown eyes laced with concern and a little amusement.

“I’m fine. I’m so sorry. It’s my first day and I’m so nervous about meeting Mr. Kim that I just…” you let your head fall while you took a breath, “I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine. What is your name?” he asked, mischief glinting in his eyes.

“Y/N.” you supplied.

“Y/N…” he let it roll off his tongue like he was  savoring it, your heart thumped wildly in your chest. “Nice to meet you. I’m V. This is Jungkook.” He introduced.

The client awkwardly gave a sort of half-wave.

“Jungkook, let’s finish this negotiation downstairs. Nice to meet you, Y/N. Have a wonderful first day.” V grinned like he was laughing at an inside joke.

You half-bowed, half scurried away, making a beeline for your new desk. Phyllis, the woman you were being trained to replace in her retirement, shook her head, silver curls bouncing.

“What?” you questioned defensively.

She sniggered to herself before leaning in so she was close enough to speak without anyone else overhearing her. The words that left her mouth caused your soul to leave your body and chills of an entirely different nature to spread.

“Dry humping the CEO on your first day. What a lovely first impression.”

Real talk, as a teacher in England I can confirm that the British government does everything and anything to avoid teaching the true extent of colonial history to English kids. 

You ask a modern English teenager about Northern Ireland and they probably can’t tell you about fucking anything currently going on there bar ‘I think we weren’t nice to them’, and that’s the country next fucking door so you know they don’t know shit about India or the Middle East.

The English government PURPOSEFULLY does not teach English children the real in’s and out’s of the British Empire despite a recent call to ‘widen the breadth of our curriculum’ because then where would our football hooligans who defend statues come from? 

Have a good conversation with any bald headed English bloke wearing an England football shirt with an EDL tattoo and test his knowledge of the Empire he loves so much. 100 quid he knows fuck all beyond ‘we civilized those people!’

And this is why no one fucking likes us, because there’s no active effort to teach our younger generations why we were wrong or how to make things better, but there’s a clear educational agenda to shield young English children from any extensive criticism of England.
