okay but have we talked about Thorin stealing bites of pie off Bilbo’s plate while Bilbo’s back is turned because i feel this in my soul

The scene of Thorin's funeral became for me the most terrible and painful. Even more than the scene of his death. It seems to me that this is a moment of absolute loneliness for Bilbo, despite the crowd around him. My heart just breaks every time at this moment and I still cannot fully believe and accept that Thorin died.
