Plot: It’s Taehyung’s birthday and even though last night he was so exhausted he didn’t even eat, today is everything he’s been waiting for. You’ll remember it for the rest of your lives, especially thanks to your gift that will witness most of your stunts, some as hot and spicy as Jjambbong, others just… as nauseous as shit.

Author’s Note: I wrote this little thing in occasion of TaeTae’s birthday. Apparently I keep writing about Taehyung in the morning, I realized it a little while ago (but I’m not sorry). I hope you’ll like this. Let’s celebrate our boy and show him all the love he deserves today!💜

Taehyung came home late last night and you thank God that he has a day off today, you really don’t know how he would have survived to another full day of rehearsals. Yesterday morning he woke up at six and when the hands of your kitchen clock were pointing straight at eight he was already staring at his figure in the mirror of the rehearsal room, sided by the other members. When he came home last night he was so exhausted and sweaty that all he wanted to do was take a shower and go to sleep, without even eating. If it were possible, sleep while taking a shower. He didn’t want to eat, he literally had his eyelids heavy even as he walked from the bathroom to the bedroom, and all you could do was cuddle with him as he fell asleep. Useless to say, it took him three minutes, but he mattered something about his back, saying that it hurt.

His tiredness is the reason why you’re still staring at him as he lightly snores, lips ajar and disheveled hair. It’s already ten, and you wish he could sleep endlessly if it’d help him with feeling better both mentally and both physically, but it’s his birthday. You know he’d prefer to be awake, he didn’t do anything else than talk about his free day on his birthday for the whole week. Just the other day he had rambled for more than twenty minutes of what you could do together.

You’re smiling and you don’t even realize it until he snores louder than before, his breath suddenly stopping for one, two, three, four seconds… and then he sneezes. The sudden action makes your smile turn in a laughter that you’re not good at holding back, making him half awake in his sleep.

It is mesmerizing that smells can bring us such great memories, moments and people in our head. Amortentia describes it very well and besides the original author being a crap, this is a very interesting way to think of a potion. But the best about this isn't just the smell: it's that, out of all the common senses, y/n discovered the real essence of Jungkook even if she pretended to hate him. i sincerely don't know what's the story behind la vie en bonsai. at first i thought this was about a mute girl, but as it's written, i don't see anything wrong about her disability, as a person who works with people with it.

BUT the thing is: it's a GREAT story. despite the topics not being my fav, i guess they made it lighter, funnier and great! i couldn't stop reading. i reached it through another fic and immediately knew this was a classic (i mean, 38k and namjoon + bonsais + a cute y/n? it's a perfect recipe!)

listen, i know that no one usually reads these notes because they’re so long and lame, and you’re probably begging to me to shut the heck up and just get to the point, but please just bear with me for a little while longer because i wouldn’t be saying all of this if it wasn’t super important!! 

oh boy. here we are again! as some of you may know, it was november of last year that la vie en bonsai was first posted and it was november of last year that la vie en bonsai was subsequently taken down. first, i know that it’s taken me a while to come out with another big fic, so thank you for being patient with me. i really wanted to make sure that every little piece of this story was as perfect as it could possibly be. it’s pretty nerve-racking coming out with a big fic when i’ve just been writing short little drabbles for one whole year! secondly, it’s worth taking this opportunity to apologise once more for the atrocity that was the first version of la vie en bonsai. i was blinded by my own privilege and i wasn’t aware of the hurt that i caused towards the Deaf/HoH community - the absolute last thing i wanted was to make it seem like i was romanticising and using a very real disability as a plot device, to speak on behalf of a community that i am not apart of - and for that, i truly hope you can accept my apology. and if you cannot forgive me, that is completely understandable. i know i missed the mark. i know i screwed up. i know i could’ve handled the backlash more maturely. i’m sorry. finally, i wouldn’t even be writing this note if it weren’t for every single one of you. you guys have graciously given me a second chance, and for that, i am truly grateful. i just hope that this new, revamped version can show you that i hear every single one of you, that i’m trying my best to learn from my careless mistakes and that i’m trying my best to grow as a person. thank you for giving me the opportunity to make things right.

doing stupid voice impressions to cheer you up and sing offs in the shower as he’s shampooing your hair 

and a lot of tickle fights, where he mostly just pokes you until you’re annoyed

(he really loves testing your boundaries..)

cuddling (he’s usually the big spoon unless he’s had a hard day) and scrolling through instagram on one phone, or watching crime documentaries on your laptop

also playing against each other in video games and always placing bets, or making the loser do something the winner wants (whatever the winner’s wish is, it’s usually wholesome, but….)

you are the children of all of the other members, it’s no doubt

yoongi will knock on guk’s door and peek in to see you both battling each other over the last chicken wing, and he’ll sigh before closing the door

and guk, although not very good at expressing emotions, will always let you have the last chicken wing, because to him, you’re everything, and always will be <3
