Request: No, just my mind coming up with one of the most cliché ideas ever. I hate myself :)

Summary: Dating someone who used to be a fuckboy might cause some constant insecurities to invade your mind. Who would’ve thought an argument and way more drinks than usual would be the reason for them to go away.

With a frown and crossed arms over your chest, you watched as Hobi and Jin dragged your very drunk boyfriend to your room. Why your room, in your apartment and not theirs? That was exactly what you asked them as soon as they came out of it, ready to say their goodbyes and apologize once again for interrupting your sweet dreams at two in the morning on a Tuesday.

“He wouldn’t stop whining about wanting to come to you” Jin explained to you.

“He’s nearly passed out, I’m pretty sure you could’ve left him sleeping in the car and told him it was my house and he would’ve bought it”.

The two guys in front of you gazed at each other. They knew you were probably right, but they also wanted to help his inexperienced friend make up with his girlfriend, and if they had to do it the hard way by bringing him to you in such state, then so be it.

“We know you’re mad at him, b–”

“Good” you cut Hoseok’s words off, “because I am” your stern voice was all the confirmation they needed. “You guys do know we had a huge fight earlier today, right? And now I am finding out the first thing he did was go out to have fun and–”

“He wasn't” Hobi was the one to interrupt you back this time, “having fun…” you raised one of your eyebrows at him.

“He was having a hard time, actually. Just drinking his feelings away” Jin scratched the back of his neck. “We had to get it out of him to tell us where he was”.

You ran your hand through your face – heart feeling uneasy.

“I’m just… worried he might have not changed at all, that’s all”.

“Y/N” Hoseok drew your attention, “I can promise you he has. Yes, maybe not completely yet, but you have to understand he had never been in a serious relationship before”.

“We know he fucks up sometimes, but if what worries you is him starting to go to parties like crazy again and cheating on you…” your heart stung at Jin’s words, mostly because that was exactly what troubled you, “just know he won’t. He loves you. So damn much. He didn’t look at any other girl the whole night and he wouldn’t stop talking about you and how much he wanted to be with you right then”.

The three of you stood silent for a moment – their eyes following yours as you directed them to your room.

“Just think about it, Y/N. How many months was he trying to win you over?” Hoseok asked.

You bit the inside of your cheek, already getting his point. “Four” you mumbled, not meeting his eyes.

“And for him to be interested in anyone for more than three weeks says a lot itself – even more when by the fourth month the most he had accomplished with you was getting a date, which meant he then had to keep making an effort to make you his girlfriend. You really think he’d let it all go to waste just like that?”

That had surely been such a realisation for you.

Giving them a nod after a few seconds, you let them know it was okay for them to go and leave you to take care of Jeongguk. You would have to skip your morning class just to look after him and his hangover but, hey, that’s what you had implicitly signed up for the second you agreed to be his girlfriend.

You went to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water and some painkillers before making your way to your bedroom, where you saw your boyfriend already passed out in your bed. It really amazed you the effect he had on you, because yes, you were still mad, and you should’ve been even angrier in that moment, but… looking at his sleeping figure spread out in your bed, made you want nothing but to cuddle him.

Letting out a sigh, you went to sit by his side, placing the things on your nightstand before your hand instinctively went to brush away the few strands of hair covering his eyes, smiling weakly at how peaceful he looked right then.

However, the boys hadn’t even bothered removing his clothes for him to be more comfortable – they hadn’t even taken off his shoes. So, you tugged on the fabric by his right wrist, trying to take his leather jacket off. An almost inaudible whine and him moving his hand away was the response you got from Jeongguk. You tried one more time, only for him to do the same once again.

“Guk” you whispered, in a failed attempt of waking him up.

Since this time he didn’t even bother replying, you tried one more time to get his jacket off.

“Stop!” his hoarse and determined voice sent shivers running down your spine.

“I need to take your clothes off”.

“But I have a girlfriend” he said in a pout, not even close to giving in.

At that you sat up straight, staring at him absolutely baffled. Did he really not know it was you?

“Guk-ah, it’s me… Y/N” you informed him, a little taken aback.

He tried to open his eyes to get a glimpse of you, but they felt way too heavy for him to do so. Instead, he just shook his head no.

“She’s mad at me” he reasoned, releasing a shaky breath. Of course, why would you be with him when only hours ago you had been raising your voice at each other to the point he ended up storming out of your place? It seemed unlikely. “She doesn’t trust me because I used to be a fuckboy” he slurred – your heart hurting because of what he had just said. “So please leave me… alone… I don’t want to lose her”.

All the time you had loved him, fuckboy or not, you didn’t think it was possible for you to fall any harder for him. Right then, you proved yourself wrong. He proved you wrong. And it hurt you to realise just then how you hadn’t been doing a good job at keeping your trust issues from him – not because of him knowing about them, but because you were supposed to trust your own boyfriend. In a great amount, you did, it was just… sometimes there were certain thoughts you could not brush off no matter how hard you tried, but that was yours to work on and overcome.

After a few seconds you used to collect your mind, you decided there was no use on trying to take his clothes off. But you could at least try to remove his shoes, right?

Wrong.

As soon as you got a hold of his foot, he moved it away from your grip.

“Okay” you let out, going to sit down next to him once again as an idea came up to your mind, “how about you give me your phone so I can call your girlfriend and you ask her if I can tuck you into bed?”

Silence filled the room enough time for you to think he had fallen asleep again. But then, you saw him clumsily reach for the front pocket of his jeans and hand you his phone. Rolling your eyes in amusement, you unlocked it and dialled your own number to then give the phone back to him. How drunk must he had been not to notice your ringtone resounding throughout the room in that exact moment?

“Yeah?” you answered.

“Babyyy” his drunken, cheerful greeting, earned a smile from you. “I’m sorry about earlier… and I’m sorry I… got drunk… please don’t leave me…”

“I won’t” your quick reply contrasted your calm tone. He smiled blissfully. “We’ll talk about it tomorrow. Where are you?”

“I don’t know” he huffed, “and this weird girl won’t stop trying to take my clothes off…”

“Oh?”

“But don’t worry, I won’t let her” he dragged on, turning around on the bed so he could now rest on his stomach – still letting you get a glimpse of his face and the smug smile starting to form on his lips, “you are the only one who can look and touch all of this”.

This time you had to cover your mouth with your hand so you could hold back a laugh threatening to abandon your throat.

Drunk, vulnerable, and on the verge of passing out, he still somehow managed to be a cocky little shit.

“What an honour” you replied, loving how his previous smug smile turned into a sweet one. “Will you at least let her take your shoes off, baby?”

Nothing.

“Guk-ie?”

And then he nodded, as if you could see his actions through the phone. Funnily enough for you, you could indeed.

“Okay, go to sleep now. I’ll go get you in the morning”.

Another weak nod was his response, letting you know he was about to fall asleep for once and for all.

“Baby?” his voice surprised you before you could hang up.

“Yeah?”

“I love you”.

Giggling under your breath, you found yourself looking at him in utter adoration.

You knew he did.

Maybe his hyungs were right. Maybe he hadn’t changed completely – but he was human. He messed up just as much as you did, and, right then, you realised what worried you the most about the ghosts from his past, all those thoughts about him breaking your heart at some point by going back to his old ways or about him just playing with you, were nothing but that – thoughts; insecurities of yours that you had to let go of not only for your sake, but also your relationship’s. It was trust what relationships were built on anyway. It was about time you started trusting him entirely.

“I love you, too, baby boy” you replied sweetly, taking the phone away from your now fast asleep boyfriend before you pressed a tender kiss to his forehead.

I really love hospital themed fanfics. I'm at med school and relate so so much with y/n it hurts lol BUT the thing is: it's always about the busy schedule, the tired faces and time management. We're all too young to be in this position but here we are, and we have no choice but to put work in first place.

So when a fanfic talks about it realistically, it makes my heart melt like yours did. It's not about flowers and neatly posture, nor healthy working. It's just reality - we're facing the depths of human weaknesses and yet we have to be strong. In the middle, we can find comfort, and with comfort we can find love. That's probably the best scenario I've ever read about it. Thank you so much for writing!

Yoongi was sure you felt completely indifferent towards him. For lack of better words. indifferent . Indifferent was what he felt towards 99% of people that he met, or spoke to. But to you, he felt something special, something that wasn’t indifference. And for the first time in his life, the roles were reversed. 

See the situation was actually a lot more complicated to him than it would seem to you. You’d been Taehyung’s best friend for a very long time now, which meant you would very frequently meet with the boys, and were close to each one of them to different extents, in different ways. This also meant that it was very normal to find you lounging around the dorms, any day of the week. The complication arose when Yoongi was uncertain if you and Tae had a thing for each other, which you absolutely didn’t, but he wouldn’t know any better. To him, if you and Tae did have a thing for each other, then his feelings weren’t relevant at all, it was game over. But if it was you that was pining over the younger boy, then it was going to be especially painful for you to find out that not only did Tae not like you back, but one of his creepy friends was in love with you. At least that’s what he thought would happen.

being perfectly honest you thought that moving into your own apartment was going to be…. so much easier than this

ur sweating like a whore in church because the elevator just so happens to be broken and you spent the last two hours lugging very heavy boxes up to your flat

and you only have like three more boxes to go and they’re not even that big but good g o d you are so tired your arms feel like noodles and you low-key want to d i e

your friend did offer to come over and help you unpack but first of all you are a strong independent person who doesn’t need nobody’s help

so here you are, standing at the bottom of the steps just staring at the stairs with glazed over eyes because your soul left your body an hour into moving boxes up into your room

and then you feel a gentle tap on your shoulder followed by this soft: “uh, excuse me?” 

you turn around and you want nothing more than for the ground to swallow you up because guess what bitch

in front of you is the most glorious man you’ve ever seen in your life

he has warm brown eyes and a perfectly tousled mop of hair on his head and such a sweet smile and he’s dressed in this oversized black tee paired with very very tight jeans and some scruffy old sneakers and it’s a very simple look but he makes it work and you are INTO it

but here you are, your hair looks like a bird’s nest, your face is all red, you’re sure your armpit sweat is visible through your shirt, you didn’t get a chance to do your makeup so you basically are eyebrow-less and all blemishy and RIP

you snap out of it quickly and ur like ?? oh sorry was i in ur way sorry sorry and you kind of shuffle to the side to let him through

and jungkook’s like no you’re fine! i was just wondering if you needed some help… i heard someone new was moving in this week and i’m guessing that’s u

before you can say no jungkook has already stacked all three of the boxes on top of each other and has them in his arms and he’s trudging up the stairs and you’re like hjskhdakjnd !!!!!!

after jungkook puts the boxes down by your door he’s dragging you up a level to his place and ur kind of like omg what is happening wait stranger danger stranger danger and also please give me like two minutes to make myself look presentable for u 

you are trying your best to turn your charm on but wait

u are socially awkward and interacting with people is not really ur thing but you’re doing the best that you can!!!! with your witty comments and mediocre puns 

jungkook seems to be a little awkward too but it’s endearing 

and he thinks the exact same thing about you 

so it’s more of a comfortable silence and it’s filled with sounds of like jungkook fumbling with his keys (jingle jingle) because why did he think it would be a good idea to invite such a cute person over omg he’s so impulsive

jungkook opens his door and you kind of stop and just admire his apartment

it’s so … him .. and u barely know the guy

the place is like neat but messy you know what i’m saying 

sure there are a couple chip bags on the table and the throw pillows and blankets are tossed hapharzardly over the couch 

but it looks like it’s supposed to be that way 

also he has some action figures sitting on his window sill which is kind of cute

you can see the elaborate video game system that is hooked up to his television 

the mario kart wheels immediately grab your attention because ur a mario cart hoe 

jungkook tells you about the corgi that he saw on his way back from the dance studio as he pours a glass of lemonade for you

the corgi was wearing sunglasses and little booties to protect its little feetsies (directly quoted from him)

and you can’t help but listen fondly because this stranger is not only so terribly kind but also he is so nice to look at and listen to and this lemonade is the bomb dot com

basically you end up talking to jungkook for like an hour and a bit and then you remember that you have some stuff to unpack

as you say goodbye jungkook tells you you’re welcome to come and visit him anytime

also u don’t know this but he thinks ur cute and the way that your nose crinkles when u giggle makes his heart go pitter patter

he likes the way your name so easily slips off his tongue

it’s strange because you’ve never gotten this close to a guy before ??? you don’t know what you’re doing to keep him around but whatever you’re doing keep doing it

you’re at his place a couple times a week to hang with him and he shows you his favourite movies and he plays you his favourite songs and he teaches you how to play his favourite video games and sometimes he dances for you and one time he even got you up on your feet to bop along to a song with him 

the fact that he’s a dancer is so attractive to you because the way his body moves is just *italian hand kiss*

also he’s so helpful like whenever you have a huge project or a big exam he’s right by your side with flash cards or markers and he’s like okay let’s get to work 

sometimes he gets bored and starts doodling on your flashcards but you find that the doodles help with memorization so you’re like whatever!! 

and you want to scream whenever you see him interacting with other people because he is just so perfect

he helped mrs jones from downstairs with her groceries

he was playing with the baby from upstairs and making googly faces and just being the moST adorable thing omg u want kids now but more specifically u want JUNGKOOK’S KIDSz (shhhhhhh one day) 

anyways i digress

you two have had a couple of drinks because you are Responsible Young Adults Having Fun on a Friday Night

jungkook made these spiked versions of his lemonade and they are so much stronger than u thought they would be

anyways you find yourself letting jungkook pull you up off the couch and the two of you are dancing around his living room happily even tho u were like i don’t want to dance i’m a bad dancer 

but you let jungkook pull you up because you are so wrapped around his finger 

and the song switched to like this… slow sultry song and your heart rate spikes up because is it just you or is it getting a lil hot in here 

his arm is wrapped around your waist and he pulls your arms up so they’re around his neck 

you’re so close to his face your noses are basically touching

you’re not really dancing anymore the two of you are kind of just.. in a trance 

and you’re kind of like haha…… sorry i stepped on ur foot earlier i’m not the greatest danceR 

you kind of pull away and you get blushy and ur like how about another lemonade or something let’s get wyld

and then it happens

jungkook suddenly tugs on your wrist and pulls you in  

his lips are on yours

time seems to slow down

your eyes were wide at first but you flutter them shut when you feel jungkook pinching your hip as if he was reminding you ‘hey kiss me baaaaaaacccckkkk’

of course you kiss him back despite the alarms ringing in your head because woW this is the best moment of your life

the two of you pull away with flushed cheeks and swollen lips

and jungkook’s eyes have turned a darker shade of brown but then he steps away and is like ahahHHHHHh

he’s kind of like… sorry about that i just… u look really good right now and i felt like the moment was right omg idk i kind of have a crush on u but i’m really sorry i shouldn’t have done that-

you cut him off by pressing your lips to his and you tell him to shut up and just kiss u and hey i like u too i really like u a loT u idiot

he nudges you towards the couch and you flop down and he hovers over you with the brightest smile before he’s leaning down and pressing kisses against your neck and his hands are beginning to wander……,,,..

let’s just say you guys get a noise complaint the next morning
