Destiel Headcanon #3

Castiel doesn’t know what to do, Sam and Dean are dying and he can’t stop it. Just when every hope leaves him, he looks up at the person, who was once his father.

“You can’t stop it.” Chuck says and Castiel nods. He can’t stop it.

“But I can start it again.” Castiel says and his grace literally explodes around them. Castiel’s right hand holds onto Dean’s shoulder, where he once marked him. His left one pressed against Sam’s arm.

It’s warm and smells like spring. Castiel relaxes and takes a look around. The room is small, but obviously decorated with lots of love. He smiles at the poster of an Impala.

“John? We need to go.” Mary says loudly and Castiel chuckles when he can hear the two whines that follow. Castiel wanders quietly through the house, invisible for the human eye.

“I know, just waiting for the babysitter.” John answers and Castiel can see how he sits in front of the TV. Castiel doesn’t concentrates on him, instead he looks at the two boys playing on the carpet.

“Like this Sammy!” Dean explains and pushes a small car over the map that is drawn on the carpet. Sam clasps his hands in happiness and watches his big brother.

Castiel takes a moment to smile and then vanishes. *

The door rings and Dean gets up to run towards the door. Sam stays where he is, but John catches Dean before he can open the door and does it himself.

“You’re late.” John says but he is grinning. Dean holds his hands already up, looking for a hug.

“Cas!” Dean squeals, when Castiel finally takes him into his arms. He is already telling Castiel about the million things he wants to do. Castiel just smiles and listens.

The quiet “Hello Dean.” gets lost, when he presses a kiss in Dean’s hair.

This time he would give the boys a life they always deserved.

I kinda wanna write this as a real fic.
