My friend noticed that Kung Lao from MK11 has a very thin waist. I thought it was cute, but after that I noticed that his waist was like that almost everywhere! I found it funny and came up with a headcanon.

Headcanon: Kung Lao is a little self-conscious about his waist, since he wants to be strong and great, and a thin waist ruins everything in his opinion. Because of this, he always wears something around his waist to make himself appear a little thicker. That's why he always tries to change the subject when someone notices. And his favorite pose is with his hands on his hips to hide his highlight.
