Oh, he is absolutely suffering! Even if things seem fine from his POV we only get a few minutes a day to see through his eyes in the lore videos. The remainder of the time is behind closed doors, and no one can see his what's happening in Sun's mind except for Sun himself.

So, fictional character or not, people have no right to judge how he's doing -- ESPECIALLY since he can't really be talked to. Saying Sun is "fine" makes me think of someone denouncing somebody else's depression, a mental condition, as being self-pitying. THAT'S NOT HOW THAT WORKS.

The only people with the right to say what's definitely going on is, in this case, the writers.

And OH MY GOSH I HADN'T EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT SUN NOT GRIEVING LUNAR. Oh geez, that's... I don't even know!

Why no one is taking Sun's mental issues seriously?!

Sun changed but at what cost?!

Sun most definitely had psychotic episode during his "going solo after Eclipse" arc.

And people have audacity to say that Sun's "mental state is fine" and showrunners forgot about Bloodmoon's hallucination etc. etc. When in fact it doesn't work like that!

Sun is still suffering. He's still mentally not okay.

And I'll add this here. It doesn't matter that Sun knows that Lunar may be alive when he didn't properly grieve after Lunar's death. Because all those repressed emotions will come back. No matter Lunar being dead or alive! Heck, Lunar could even come back to the Daycare and Sun still will experience the aftermath of repressed grief.

I'll say this once again. I really appreciate the work Davis and Reed are putting into depiction of various mental issues in the show! Sun's mental issues are portrayed pretty much accurately imo. So thank you guys for treating various mental issues with respect. I love this show!

Sooo... how do you guys like my new avatar? It's not exactly dark and mystical like I'd like it to be, but then again neither was my old avatar. I honestly had no inspiration with that one and decided I just wanted something pretty. XD

Credit where credit is due, this is from a game coming out next year called "Little Kitty, Big City". The trailer for the game itself is hilariously adorable, and there's a free demo on Steam and I just... get it. Get it. Get the demo. Seriously. Go get it. Now. I SAID NOW.

Also, no I'm not sponsored by the developers or anything (do people even get sponsored on Tumbr?). I just found someone playing this game and I'm in love with the demo. I've played it about four times over the past three days, and I played all the way through each time.

I can bring up a link to the video, but I'd like to ask the creator of the video if she's okay with it before I do anything. Call me overly cautious, but... yeah, I'm overly cautious with everything. XD

New Things to Beware on the Internet

On May 3rd, Google released 8 new top-level domains (TLDs) -- these are new values like .com, .org, .biz, domain names. These new TLDs were made available for public registration via any domain registrar on May 10th.

Usually, this should be a cool info, move on with your life and largely ignore it moment.

Except a couple of these new domain names are common file type extensions: ".zip" and ".mov".

This means typing out a file name could resolve into a link that takes you to one of these new URLs, whether it's in an email, on your tumblr blog post, a tweet, or in file explorer on your desktop.

What was previously plain text could now resolve as link and go to a malicious website where people are expecting to go to a file and therefore download malware without realizing it.

Folk monitoring these new domain registrations are already seeing some clearly malicious actors registering and setting this up. Some are squatting the domain names trying to point out what a bad idea this was. Some already trying to steal your login in credentials and personal info.

This is what we're seeing only 12 days into the domains being available. Only 5 days being publicly available.

What can you do? For now, be very careful where you type in .zip or .mov, watch what website URLs you're on, don't enable automatic downloads, be very careful when visiting any site on these new domains, and do not type in file names without spaces or other interrupters.

I'm seeing security officers for companies talking about wholesale blocking .zip and .mov domains from within the company's internet, and that's probably wise.

Be cautious out there.

That's nothing but selfish immediate gratification. Even worse is that it's an insult to the writer. Way to be grateful for the art they chose to share with you FOR FREE. They had no obligation to do that, you know. >:(

Bet this person would probably take credit for it, too! They probably think they're sooo smart. Yeah, no. Not sorry at all, this is pure laziness.

If this happens to me and my stories in the future I'd personally feel kind of violated. I want this fictional world I shaped to be the best it can be, which is something that takes TIME AND EFFORT, and then somebody comes along and shows how much they don't care about the work that went into the project by butchering it and stealing the scraps that remain.

Writing fanfic for other fanfics is OKAY so long as you ask permission and are respectful of the material. But this nonsense? NO. It should not be done. It should not be tolerated.

Exhausted and anxious post-headache rambles, yay~!

So today's episode of The Sun and Moon Show...

The fact that the computer states that "Miku" has been stalking Sun and Moon every single day of the year... this is the one time that I hope the computer is joking and is just withholding the truth unlike before. Call it denial on my part, but the idea of that being true is legitimately horrifying -- especially because this happens in real life all the freaking time!

The Computer has been rude, but they seem to have become particularly mean to Sun and if they lied just to get under his figurative skin, right after what little self-esteem he had left was STOMPED ON, then they've crossed the line even further than before.

Sun has been picked on enough, for god's sake. Bless New Moon and Earth for being so loving and nurturing to him.

Part of me has been wondering why Computer has been acting like this, though. Is it really just the sarcasm mode thing? Are they sick of being looked down on by the boys? Sun and Moon have kind of treated them like a pseudo-servant piece of tech instead of another AI even before Computer started mouthing off.

Or is it something else? I don't want Computer to become a villain! I mean, if they aren't already doing something like playing a double agent for Eclipse! But at the same time... oftentimes I just get this weird vibe from them. I really hope that this is just a lack-of-communication issue between they and the brothers, or that I'm just imagining things.

(Plus Davis's voice for Computer is just so lovely to listen do and I don't want to lose that. XD)

As for "Miku" herself? Well, I hold a special hope for her.

That hope is this: if she dares to show her face again then she should be ready for her enormous serving of her just desserts.

She's been watching our boys? Then we will be watching for her.

Autism. Is. A. Disability. Autism is a disability!! How many times do people have to say it? It’s not just a neurotype, it’s not just our brains working differently, it’s not JUST THAT. I’m angry by this stupid debate. If your autism doesn’t affect you as much, great! But sometimes it affects people. It affects them greatly. I can’t go out by myself, I have meltdowns, I can’t cook complicated things, I can’t be alone for extended periods of time, I’ll never live alone probably, I have bad sensory issues. THATS A DISABILITY. MY AUTISM IS A DISABILITY. If you can’t say the word disabled or think it’s bad, then you need to do some self reflection. I’m tired of this debate. It’s getting old and frustrating. Stop it. You can identify as you want I don’t care, but don’t go around telling people how they should identify.
