going off of this post i need to continue my rant. okay so...no thoughts, but jj and the golden girl of kildare becoming unlikely friends due to working together. one day they come in, working the same shift together with some other pogues that they know. jj eventually works up the courage to go to the hostess desk during the start of his break and chat her up using some of his jj charm. surprisingly, she laughs at his jokes and smiles that beaming smile she shows everyone else, except this one is direct at him. oh my land, this man feels that he could float with just your smile. no thoughts...just jj and the golden girl talking during every break every time they have a shift together...and even when they're not on break. they talk about everything under the sun and he learns that there is more to her than just books and studying. she learns that there is more under the tough surface he puts on. they starts to hang out more and more everyday. constantly. at the club. near the wreck. sometimes at the beach. no thoughts...just the moment when they're hanging out outside of work and they just went swimming in the ocean. the sun is setting and a golden glow is covering the two of them. the moment when they look into each other's eyes and their hearts begin to skip a beat. the blood rushing to the apples of their cheeks. the twinkle that they both see in each others eyes. jj is quick to end the moment after he realizes they're getting closer. they swim back and act like nothing just happened. no thoughts...just jj realizing he was falling when he's never fell before. jj's self destructive nature begins to chime in and he knows he can't let it happen. it's not possible. it would never end well. she's perfect and he's horrible. it would end like his dad and mom and like every other relationship on the cut. he couldn't hurt her. who was once mr.tough guy couldn't bare to hurt her. so he wouldn't...meaning he would distance himself until he was only a vague memory in her mind. no thoughts...just the golden girl realizing that she was falling in love and being absolutely terrified and in awe at the same time. she'd never gotten so far with a boy but she's ready to venture even further if that's what's in store. she's giddy and happy, thinking that the boy she likes may like her back...only to be disappointed the next day...
