as it is a years later they are all reunited when Karen and Ellie (maybe could be any one of the mcu teens maybe mj?) heading out and she runs into frank, the defenders ( like all of them)

and idk it just pure angst with alot of comfort ?!??

maybe we could see this as way for karen to explore her own mother instinct side?

and frank still being his usual self, all protective and stuff !

The way Caroline buys Tyler’s excuse about Hayley so fast makes me almost sorry for her. She’s so desperate for acceptance and so in love with him she doesn’t even blink when he says nothing happened between them (a courtesy not reciprocated by Tyler, btw; the second he sees the drawing Klaus made for her he turns around and leaves, all pissed off, and the moment he hears Caroline agreed to a date in order to save Elena, he smashes a bottle of bourbon on the wall next to her head).

Every interaction between Hayley and Tyler when there’s no one else around, and Tyler’s reaction to Klaus meeting her, makes him look so guilty. He acts guilty. At first, he didn’t even want Caroline to meet her, tries to get her to leave so she wouldn’t find Hayley staying at his place. And then all of a sudden he just says “nothing happened!” And Caroline just goes “ok!” 😒

Nobody is going to convince me Tyler didn’t cheat.

the similarities between klaus and caroline's characters is insane. both of their lives completely changed because of an unexpected child that forced them to mature and walk in a certain path. losing a loved one ( stafen/camille ) in a very tragic way. their daddy/mommy issues, the insecurities, the fear of being abandoned or left alone, and the want to always be the first choice for someone. and the fact that both of them love being vampires despite everything. i genuinely believe that these two characters are like two sides of a mirror that reflects their complexity, depth and saddened beauty. such a wasted potential.

hm. hm. hm. MAYBE a controversial take but I did not dislike Caroline in season one. she was just a regular girl who was dealing with a lot. her mom was always working, her dad was gone

Elena and Bonnie were Clearly Best Friends and they all treated Caroline lowkey like shit. they kept calling her neurotic and a control freak TO her face. and Matt was doing it when he was DATING her

was she really making it all about herself or was she just really fucking lonely. it was v obvious she was feeling that way well before Elena's parents died. it was obvious Elena was the v Center of the entire friend group and Caroline wasn't as important, ESPECIALLY when Elena's parents died

her friends called her names to her face and behind her back and she was so damn lonely. She was just a girl who had flaws and it's weird how everyone is always ready to slander Caroline, especially Season One Caroline. it seems like no one is willing to look underneath her "neurotic control freakiness" and see that girl was trying so damn hard to hold onto something concrete bec her life was in shambles
