again, im gonna bring in the language analogy bc i think it's a fair example for yuuji's situation. yuuji getting sent to jujutsu tech with people who were born to be sorcerers having just learned about curses a day ago is like if i started going to school in china but i only know how to say "hi, my name is rin" in mandarin. who is going to perform better in class, the people who've been speaking mandarin for years, or the person who started yesterday? well obviously the native speakers are going to outperform me, but does that mean i'm not as smart as them? no. it's the same for yuuji. he's a day 1 sorcerer amongst people who have all been doing it for way longer.
