Over 100 have been killed. Every single one of them hungry. Every single one of them has someone waiting for them to come back with the bag of flour.

Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war against innocent civilians. Israel ambushes starving Palestinians and shoots them. Israel is not fighting a war to defend itself. This is another episode of Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza.

i don't think people really understand what's happening in gaza. with each passing day that sees more and more palestinians dead, it's becoming easier and easier for those in the west to perceive them as nothing more than a statistic. they might engage w the occasional palestine post, sure, but it's just as easy to scroll right past that moments later w no real outrage for the genocide retained.

it's vital to stay reminded that palestinians who are with us today won't be with us tomorrow. it's happening every second of every minute of every hour, and it's relentless. somewhere in gaza a little girl is losing her mother, a little boy is watching his siblings bleed to death, elderly people are infirm with starvation and illness, palestinian women and girls are being sexually assaulted and kept in cages, fathers are leaving tents to find food for their families and not coming back. this is all happening right now, and it's a direct result of the west's complacency. it's a direct result of their not seeing arabs as people worth saving.

it might be hard to compute as a westerner, but this is real. don't let your privilege blind you to your humanity.

It may be a new year, however, Gaza is continuously experiencing genocide. Right now women and children are the main victims. As you can see it is very do-able to spread the word whilst being on theme of your blog so there is no excuse. The smallest of contributions we can make are:

- To use our platforms to spread awareness about what is being inflicted on Palestinians. Not posting about it does not mean that it is no longer happening.

- To avoid posting about rich mediocre celebrities that have either, shown support for Zionism, spread misinformation or have not uttered a word about what’s happening, simply because they showed up for fashion week or any major event.

- Boycotting businesses has proven to be effective. Many corporations have lost billions because of their blatant support for the genocide in Gaza. We live in a capitalist society, but we also have collective power. Both of which has made boycotting that much easier.

GhostThistle is a kind She-cat who is aro-ace. her boyfriend broke up with her because she only liked him in a platonic way.

Ghost's fur is naturally white but she used berries and flowers to make dye's to colour her fur. (yes she is albino). she has a single gray mark above her nose.

Ghost has very messy and long fur that falls into all different positions (so if you draw her don't worry about getting the fur purrfect).

Ghost is slowly going insane! she will sometimes attack cats, but mostly just watches everybody closely. be very cautious around her if she starts looking a little insane run...

ghost has her own blog where i will do most of my posting i may be a bit slow to post because i am drawing these by hand.
