hi just wondering if ur story 'undeserving of a love like yours' is finished? i want to read it but im just waiting for all the chapters
hi there!! the series is finished yes :]
I do plan on adding a prologue, but its really just a bonus to add a deeper meaning to the story, and in my opinion its better if its read afterwards anyway as a sort of surprise
I have no idea how to put sense in that, its a beginning type bonus but better read at the end? its not normally how prologues work...
I don't think I can promise I could finish the prequel for 'undeserving of a love like yours' π struggling with it because I can't seem to get a good enough connection with writing for wanda, but I will try to

βSoftly, love, softly...with your endearing touches, my stresses are faded without any further troubles."

It was the afternoon when Taylor had just gotten home, having told you earlier in the morning that she was going out somewhere.
She takes off her shoes and walks to the living room, seeing you sitting with your phone in your hands, comfortably laid down on the couch.
You looked up from your screen though, taking note of her presence. Seeing the questionably large plastic bag in her hand and what seemed to be small canvases within it, had your curiosity grow.
Your mind traveled to your memories, and you remember stocking up on groceries together just days ago...so it couldn't possibly be that, making your eyebrow raise.
"What's that?" You ask, pushing yourself up slightly with your hands on the couch to peek, but she expected it, so she smiles and opens up the bag with two hands for you.
"Paint supplies," she said softly, inside having paintbrushes, plenty colors of paint, and a single palette. Since she had a palette herself from the past artwork she's done, she bought one, just for you.
"I thought we could have some fun, peace, and make a mess of everything." Taylor moves to the middle of the room, where there was a bigger empty space for you two to settle on the floor, not wanting to do it on the coffee table since either of you could possibly leave paint marks on it. Although it would be good for memories, its not ideally the best thing to do
"Mm, together?" You asked, your eyebrows furrowing in thought as you stood up and moved closer, watching her leave the bag on the floor to then look at you.
"I did say 'we', darling." She said, cupping your face and leaning in. Her lips gently pecked the tip of your nose, which made you crinkle it up and giggle softly.
"I would love to," you whispered, looking at her lovingly. What an endearing to have done by her, the willingness to share her hobby with you, spending time well.
"Good. I wasn't intending on doing it without you." She brushes her thumb against your cheek gently before they slide off of your face. Taylor looks down, then remembered her extra art supplies she's had, stored in a drawer somewhere.
In the meanwhile, you were shaking your head at her sentence, your gaze adoring in all the ways she loves. You had to let go of her for her to walk away and grab her old keepings.
She returns with some leftover paint tubes that had missing colors within the set, and her own palette, sitting down on the floor in front of you.
You smiled softly and moved to sit down with her, hearing the plastic bag crinkle as she brought out the newly bought items, placing it all on the floor. When you saw the square, small canvases, your heart filled to the brim with excitement, happily wanting to enjoy painting together with her.
"What music do you wanna put on?" She asks, picking up her phone and opening spotify as her expression turns into one of thoughtfulness and concentration.
You hummed for a moment, picking up a paintbrush to gently run over the tip of your finger with, the softness of its brand new quality brushing against your skin.
"How about some of your music?" You suggest slowly, hesitant as you await for her to raise an eyebrow or deny with a no, but she only looks up at you with softness in her eyes, her lips just slightly raised. She was waiting herself, but for more detail on which album.
"Like...Lover?" You added with a tilt of your head, your teeth sinking into your lower lip afterwards. She smiled softly now, her eyes having a glimmer in them as they looked into yours before she looks for the album on her spotify.
"Always choosing the album about you, huh?" Taylor lightly teases, chuckling gently for a moment while your cheeks dusted a shade of pink. You looked down to the floor you were sitting on together, just a tinge embarrassed by her comment.
"You can choose something else, I just really like that one," you quietly said, tracing the blank canvas in front of you, then picking up the tubes of paint to inspect them.
"Maaybe I will..." She said, in a melodious tone, and you were shying away even further. Her eyes flicker up to you with a wide smile, but on her side of the screen, she was already at her album, the gentle bright pink cover shining in her eyes.
"I'm kidding. I find it cute, baby. And I love this album, too," she assured you, putting the first song on play, the adorable sound of her background vocals going 'da da da da da da', sounding out from her phone, the intro starting softly.
When Taylor looks away from her phone, she sees you brushing the paintbrush against the palm of your hand, your eyes distractedly focused on it. She smiled softly, before grabbing your attention by setting her phone down and speaking.
"Okay, are you ready?" She asks, grabbing her own paintbrush and popping open the lid of the paint tubes, clicking it closed once she put them onto her palette.
"Mhm," you hummed, smiling softly. You start experimenting the colors along with her, mixing them together to create new shades.
The song gently plays out around the two of you, encapsulating the space in a gentle warmth and filling the quietness. Taylor started on her painting, moving gently and carefully.
You started too, making sure your fingers had a gentle grip on the brush to follow the imagined picture in your head. Taylor was going with a bit of black first, making the background.
Minutes upon minutes pass by, with the gentle swish of a cat's tail suddenly coming in contact with, thankfully your arm and not the paint, the both of you had a clearer image of what you were aiming for.
Making sure you didn't have fresh paint on your hands that could get on Benjamin's fur, you reach out to gently pet him, causing the blonde in front of you to look up from her painting, a smile raising on her lips.
When you continued your strokes of paint with her, Benjamin sat down at first, his soft paws making home on the wooden boards of the floor, then he laid down, curiously keeping watch over the two of you.
"What are you making?" You ask her gently, peeking to her canvas. Her piece held a mix of deep colors, some parts seemingly coming into play as foliage, flowers, or random messy, but beautiful shapes.
"Mm, I don't know...just anything that comes in my mind." She replies gently, her eyes focused, but her face soft. Time passes by, the two of you fully in your moods to simply sit and paint colors.
'I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends...'
'I'd never walk Cornelia Street again.'
'That's the kind of heartbreak time could never mend.'
'I'd never walk Cornelia Street again.'
'And baby, I get mystified by how this city screams your name.'
'And baby, I'm so terrified of if you ever walk away...'
You were nodding your head and dancing gently to the rhythm of the music, humming the lyrics with her. She started singing softly underneath her breath, murmuring as her hand moved with grace.
A smile softly enters your face, hearing her soothing voice. Even if her voice on the phone was present, why would you focus on that when you have the real, even softer version in front of you? Pouring her heart into her work, and spending her time being with you.
"Have you tried painting at all?" Taylor asks, finally speaking up after all the long minutes of concentrating. You hummed for a moment, thinking about it.
"A little, but I wouldn't call myself a professional," you say, your cheeks overlaying the softest shade of pink. You did little swirls to blend then look up at her.
"What about you?" You asked her back with the same amount of gentleness, making her pause, lifting her brush off the canvas.
"I've done flower paintings..." She starts off quietly and thoughtfully, her eyes traveling up to you with a smile. She also looks off to the wall, nodding towards one of the frames." ...and that one on the wall," she added in a mere whisper, as if shy.
You follow her gaze, and you spot a painting, signed, 'Swift' on the top right. It was a pretty scenery of clouds atop an ocean, a faint sunset in the background. Blinking for a second, your lips part in surprise, seeing how beautifully it was painted.
"Tay...what?" A chuckle leaves your mouth your gaze baffled, yet adoring upon her. She had a cute smile growing on her face with cheeks flushed.
"You didn't tell me you paint. And amazingly?" You leaned in, shaking your head. Your hands go back to dip your paintbrush in some water to clear the color, then grab a new hue.
"It never really came to me as a thought...and I haven't done it in a while." She shrugs, making sure she didn't make any accidental strokes while doing so.
"Well, I'm just happy I know now," you said lightly, the sun that was once high in the sky now going lower and lower, the golden glow seeping in through the windows.
With just a little bit more of your final touches, you lean back, inspecting the now possibly finished painting. Smiling, you look up at Taylor.
"I think I'm done," you spoke out. Taylor looks up, leaning in closer to gaze at your canvas. Her eyes brightened, and she looks up at you proudly.
"That's really beautiful." She whispered it, but you could tell she was putting her entire love into the sentence. You smiled, looking back down.
"Thank you." A warm fuzz filled you up on the inside while Taylor finished up hers, writing something along with her small signature. When she turns the canvas, carefully holding the edges of her fingertips, you could properly see her painting.
'Is this the end of all the endings?' was a line that was written down in the middle of the canvas, going like a gentle ripple through the beautifully mixed colors. The painting quite definitely interpreted the song, but it was also a portrait of her love for you. A piece, made specially from her heart.
"I love yours. And those lyrics..." Your eyes shined as you took it in, your eyes tracing every detail. You could also interpret it as a pathway, through a dark garden.
"You're so creative, love," you whispered, gently wrapping your arm around her shoulder to kiss the side of her head, the two of you admiring each other's work of art.
Her smile and squeeze of her hand in between you both was enough to come out as a silent 'thank you', her nose scrunching when she leaned into you.
You giggle softly, noticing her actions that you returned with a gentle motion of your thumb against her hand. Your eyes then focus back to the sight in front of you.
"...Now, where are we putting these gorgeous paintings?" Quietly, you asked. She turns her head, looking to you.
"Lets hang them in the bedroom," she replied softly, her lips raised up. Her gaze was as if you were the only one in the world. And right now, to her, it seemed like you were.
The two of you make sure you seal the paintings with a varnish and wait for it to dry before picking them up, taking them to the bedroom to hang up.
One of her arms were wrapped around your waist, both of you staring at the hanged up canvases on your bedroom wall.
Being proud of both yourselves, and each other, you stood right beside her, the sides of your bodies pressed gently. Taylor then pulls back to turn you so you were faced towards her, leaning in to kiss you softly. Her hands traveled up, cupping your face.
Every part of your heart, not even so, every inch of your body bursted with love and sparks of an electric feeling, melting against her touch and returning the kiss.
When the kiss broke, you smiled softly. "I guess now I know what your painting feels like," you whispered. Even if you knew what it was like already, a reminder makes it even better.
"That's exactly it," she said approvingly, grinning at your comment. Her soft lips met your forehead gently before she went to gaze at you.
"I love you," she whispers, leaning in closer as she kept her eyes on yours. You could feel each other's warm breaths tickling your skins.
"I love you more," you said underneath your breath, teasingly laying a kiss on her cheek instead of the one spot your lips had always found.
"That's not possible." She squints her eyes and pursed her lips, as if challenging you to protest back who loves who more, and your smile grew wider.
"Is." You nod urgingly, raising your eyebrows, while she was shaking her head, your heartbeats in sync.
"Mm, mm," she hummed, now kissing the corner of your mouth, just beside the line it had.
"We're gonna endlessly exchange kisses if you keep going." You giggle throughout your sentence, going to then touch your lips against the tip of her nose affectionately.
She grins widely, her eyes sparkling with love. "Well, I can't help it," she murmurs, leaning in to press a kiss to your lips once more.
"You make me want to keep kissing you forever," she whispered softly, the two of you continuing to be close to each other within the cozy day until you were cuddled in bed.
