I Have No Beef With Montana Posing As The Shocker In The Cartoon (Hes A Rad Of A Character Without It,

I have no beef with Montana posing as the Shocker in the cartoon (He’s a rad of a character without it, too) but….I want my Herman Schultz version back.

The thing about comedy villains is that there are really only two paths to go with them. Either they stop being villains, or they prove that they’re not just comedy villains. 

I like to think that Shocker could do both, since it’s been made canon that Shocker is smarter than anyone gives him credit for, and he chooses to not stick his neck out with things. 

This gives two amusing possibilities to use with him. Option A, he’s doing the same things he does as a villain, but he’s actually gone somewhat straight, and heroes keep beating him up thinking he’s doing villainous things. Like, he starts knocking down buildings for construction companies but then heroes think he’s committing crimes because he’s a villain and all. 

Or, someone pushes him over the edge and he takes advantage of everyone else’s low opinion of him to pull off a masterful revenge scheme. Honestly, I feel like he should have done that already given what Boomerang did, but I feel like Shocker’s too nice a guy unless someone really trespassed against him. Though I don’t know what that would take. 

I just love the idea of Shocker having someone by the balls and being like ‘Don’t mock the shocker’ in his best intimidating voice and just making it clear that yes, he chooses to be lower tier villain, but he doesn’t have to be one. 

I was planning on marrying him anyways

Why isn’t Shocker building Dr. Doom/Reed Richards level science anomalies out of scrap a bigger joke in the Marvel universe?

They spend their lives doing complex mathematical calculations and trying to get funding for theoretical science experiments…

Shocker builds it out of scrap materials and builds it by accident. 

Now before yall get on to me I fact-check all the characters to see if they are catholic and I'm mostly right the one I'm not too sure about is Lisa Frankenstein cause the movie director is catholic and Lisa was wearing a rosary that she later on gave to her sister taffy so fact check me if I'm wrong I'm like 70% sure she catholic
