Why i like wes anderson movies
Everyone is always so emotionally confused and overloaded but still with seeds of goodness and a desire to be kind at heart and they don’t always figure themselves out but they make progress and it’s just kinda something I really connect with cuz theyre trying so hard and they’re usually wealthy white people but that doesn’t take away from every humans desire for family and companionship and emotional safety and everyone’s just really holistic and honest cuz that’s the only way you can be when I dunno your wife leaves you for her adopted brother or something and the blunted and deadpan emotion is how I feel like I express myself and it’s understandable for me, because I’m constantly emotionally overloaded because despite popular belief my family and I are kind of a mess and Wes Anderson movies are the only place I can find that representation cuz no other popular films really give their characters as much depth and background and context as is needed to tell their story as a super messed up person like a wes Anderson character. its why darjeeling is my favorite the characters are so complex
