Deathworlder...." Wilbur's breath hitched tightly, holding them in his arms closely in speculation of what he's seeing is true. 

In all of the stars and the sake of Khl'the... Please tell me this is some sort of joke, there's no way that it's a Deathworlder. 

He thought that these species were quarantined from travelling the galaxy strictly around the 24th Century unless with governmental permission (such as military work, taking work abroad, research, IGP VUSA and so on). However it seems that, well, unsure of their prefered gender pronouns, they aren't wearing any uniform or anything in that matter that indicates any of those legal purposes.

Examining the Deathworlder's injuries in his arms. It seems that they fainted from exhaustion and malnourishment judging mostly from their deep-seethed eye bags, pale skin and ribs poking out mainly. Zekwt'ot's neck! He's covered in grime, dirt, and- blood?!

He breathes in and out.

The Deathworlder shifted their head slightly.

Oh god he's going to die by a predator, It's going to rip off his appendages and his jugular with their bare claws like many stories told by survivors. 

Wilbur shook his head, trying to grapple in the situation and started to scamper towards the house; where Phil, Tubbo, and Techno are discussing something that recently occurred, apparently a deadly encounter both Tubbo and Techno had to fight then flee out of.

He had so many questions popping into his mind. Why is it covered in grime, bruises and blood? Is it hostile? Will they kill him and possibly harm others?

And most Importantly…

Why the fuck are they in the trunk of the car??

“I know that you’re lonely but if it really happened, who would be there to save you if I get taken away, huh?” Dream pressed on, his tone ever so becoming harsher. Tommy tried to hide his trembling body as much as possible but you can’t stop a bottle with gashes once water fills in. 

Dream took a step forward, his tied arms unfurling, condescending into a daring temper “You’re better than that, You know what the Galactic Council does to uncertified humans that don’t have VUSA IGPs? Theseus?” he called him by his real name, Tommy knew he was in real deep shit if he did that. 

Tommy quietly gulped, mustering up what his tight throat is able to sputter out.

“They…g-get killed” he’s stumbling. Pride or making excuses wasn’t an option here, even if it was, it’ll worsen Dream’s temper either way. He learned that the hard way a long time ago.

Dream glared at the little blond boy with disappointed resentment. Tommy’s chest anchored inwards as the room was silent white, his heart throbs like a hand banging on a metal door.  

“Before that…They were tortured and experimented on.” There was no emotion in Dream’s voice when he said that but coldness was seeded in each word. For a man whose voice was comforting, he’s scary. Fucking terrifying. 

He’s disappointed in me again. Why? just why do I keep making these stupid decisions? I just wanted to give him something I saw. Why am I so stupid? I hate this feeling. I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate me-

“Tommy look at me” 

He doesn’t wanna look up, he’d rather look at the floor than Dream right now. It not like he was scared…He isn’t a pussy, he’s not

Anxiously twiddling with his fingers, He quietly sucked in air and slowly look up to face him. 

“Why did you go outside?” Dream leaned forward, “I know that you don’t do those sorts of things for nothing other than loneliness”, Tommy can hear his heart drumming in his ears and tears daring to leave their dam. 

Carefully shifting to his pocket beneath his plaid makeshift-poncho, not breaking eye contact with him. “Come on Tommy, I’m waiting-”

There was a white flower between them, held by the little blond boy nervously held out between his small fingers towards Dream’s face. 

“I-” He choked on his throat, “I just- was that when w-we landed in this planet-” he took an exhale, his eyes fixated on the floor in contemplation, trying to get a hold of his stumbling. 

“I saw a few flowers around and I thought these flowers looked so much like a flower we had back on earth! so I- I thought you’dlikeonebutIkn-” 

“A lily?”

“Yeah- no- I…actually don’t know what kind of flower is this but It’s just really similar t-that’s all!” Tommy butted in hesitantly as if that justifies anything.

Dream shot a stare at Tommy who clamped his mouth shut. Never run your mouth that doesn’t add things up. His subconscious whispers warily as a reminder of what he’d been taught.

The artificial air went tense with the blond’s chest deepening in guilt and fear. he doesn’t wanna get hurt, he just wants to see Dream happy, that’s all he wanted to do. 

Dream’s arm shifted. There it is, you screwed up again, why are you like this?. Tommy’s head flinched in acceptance, preparing to get hit. 

He didn’t expect a gentle hand laid on his hair. The Green-eyed man sighed “Tommy, I-” He pressed two of his finger onto his forehand “Just don’t do that again, God you gave me a heart attack”. 

“…Sorry…” Is all that Tommy can muster up, his hand is wavering from how long he was holding the small white flower which Dream gently took from him. He looked at the flower for a strange amount of time. 

Tommy twiddled with his fingers, unsure “Do…you like it?” he asked quietly.

Dream broke his focus and looked towards Tommy. The little blond’s mind screamed at himself again however soon calmed by his response. 

“It’s…lovely” He softly whispered that last part, it didn’t seem…wrong? But not sure if it’s genuine but Tommy took it as a good sign. 

Tommy wanted to speak but again, he has no voice in this. He perked up when Dream started to speak. 

“Training starts around early in the morning” He turned to his room, Tommy tilted his head “W-what?”

“I said training starts around early in the morning, Tomorrow.” Pressing some buttons, the door shifted open and soon there he was off to his quarters. Tommy would follow him but he knew he probably would be kicked off his bridge for being an annoyance.

Finally, this 11-year-old going to be Dream’s right hand man in working! 

I Always wanted to help out Dream since he deserves a hand in his business, Though it’ll be rough it does benefit him going to the out world! Perhaps even making friends with a couple of Xenos- perhaps a Grachk’ve? Those lizard people with four eyes? They seem cool- Or oh! an Elytr’ev? Those centaur-like quadrupedal insectoid people? They have different types of people in there perhaps I can hang out with them?

Tommy has to control excitement, He’s finally getting a true step out of this ship to have a chance to see the galaxy instead of behind a hylographite glass.

If he only knew what was ahead, he would’ve run out of that ship when he had the chance.
