Jungkook stood a few feet from you, and you ran your eyes up and down his body. He didn’t resemble the same Jungkook you had started dating almost four years ago. His hair was longer, and his clothes were significantly darker and bolder. He even had a few tattoos now. You couldn’t believe that he had been the same person with whom you were so completely in love with—then it hit you, it was not the same person.

Neither were you. You marched up to him, with your arms crossed in front of your chest. He, as always, had his eyes glued on his phone.

‘Did you know I was gonna do this project?’

Jungkook turned to see you, slowly trailing his eyes up your body. You rolled your eyes, almost wanting to hit his head with your script. ‘Oh, hi. Nice to see you again.’

‘Wish I could say the same.’

He licked his teeth. ‘To answer your question, no, I didn’t know.’

‘I thought you only did TV now.’

He shrugged, enjoying a little bit too much how annoyed you seemed to be. ‘I’m trying to do something different now.’

‘Right.’ You scoffed and walked off. You were ready to go home and just take a nap forever. Thankfully, there were still a few days before the start of the filming.
