tickles related to sleep i luv you.. wake up tickles… refusing to get out of bed… sleepy giggles and demands to get up interwoven with teases… trying to bat their hand away half-heartedly… and then tickles to go to bed… uttering one too many ‘give me a minute’s… being wrestled down and tickled until you’re too tired to do anything but sleep…. dies and explodes
Writing high fantasy is harder for me than it used to be because I'll write "The door swung open" and I'll imagine some tumblr user with three different grad degrees in medieval history dunking on me with a 2,000-word post about how door hinges weren't invented until 1956 and before that they'd just smash them open with axes and rebuild them each time.
Imagine your f/o murmuring words of comfort to you while they hold you. "It'll all turn out okay, you'll see." "Don't worry, you'll always have me here with you." "You deserve to feel loved and supported."
haters really will put a blanket over my cage to try and trick me into thinking its beddy-bye time
always remember that self punishment is not the same thing as self discipline. never forget you cannot punish yourself, or anyone else, into a better life. you reproduce the cruelty you show to yourself in the way you talk to and about other ppl
