Local here, I like to imagine Remy talks about and treats Wade and Logan like they are his cats out of habit and people get confused by it constantly

Instance 1

Remy, texting: do you think if I asked really nicely the professor would lend me some shi’ar tech for my counters?

Jake(Courier): ?? why do you need fancy alien tech for your counters??

Remy: I banned Wade and Logan from the kitchen, but they still managed to bust up my poor marble counter

Jake: ,,, how exactly did they do that?

Remy: Logan pounced on Wade during a zoomies session and managed to put a crack in it :(

Jake: what the hell are you feeding them?

Remy: ?? Lots of meat because they’ll whine and beg if I don’t

Jake: um have you considered putting them on a diet or exercising them more?

Remy: they used to eat just beer and pancakes/chimichangas so this is progress

Remy: also they exercise plenty, i’m pretty sure they have their own danger room sequence for when the zoomies hit

Jake: how are your cats still alive

Scott: Remy why did I just look through the search history of one of our computers and find a series of searches on how much catnip to give based on weight and why did you try and ask how much to give for 300 pounds

Remy: god can a man not ask the internet a question in peace anymore??

Scott: not when you apparently have a cat in the mansion weighing over 300 pounds
