stop delaying your healing process by opening doors to toxic people. everyone is worth forgiving but not everyone is worth reconciling with. don’t hinder your progress to make others comfortable. you owe it to yourself to heal. make this season personal and continue on with evolving.
Never go to bed angry, anxious, or sad. It's perfectly normal to feel those emotions when we experience things in life that triggers them, but we must learn to move on after feeling and acknowledge them instead of remaining stuck in them.
Being purposeful in choosing how we want to feel is crucial. If we can harness ways to raise our mood, we can control our emotions instead of letting them control us.
Everytime before you go to bed, take 30 minutes to an hour to asses how your feeling. If you are not feeling at ease with yourself, engage in an activity that will make you feel better and cut off all other distractions. No more doom scrolling, no more pondering into the past, no more arguing. More meditation, prayer, exercise, positive book reading, music therapy, and self-care. Being intentional about not going to bed feeling bad will set you to gor success on the day ahead.
