Okay but what if we changed this a bit to match Mics "person vs persona" debate.

This would give an explanation as to why Oboro didn't acknowledge Mic, because he didn't recognise him.

Here when Hizashi comes to him, at his lowest, at his most vulnerable. When pure green meet yellow. That's when Oboro realizes-

But he knows Hizashi Yamada is one of his best friends.

Head-canon time!

Present Mic goes to visit Kurogiri/Shirakumo after the war arc, alone, because Aizawa is still in hospital. He doesn’t put his hero costume on, firstly because he’s just plain exhausted and tired of dressing up, secondly he knows this is Shirakumo and he wants his friend to see him, Hizashi, this time. Mic is quiet for a while, and then just whispers, “She’s dead. She’s gone.” He looks up at the window and says louder, “Kayama’s dead! She’s dead! Aizawa’s in the hospital, with only one leg and one eye. Please tell me that means something to you!” He jumps out of his chair, knocking it over in his haste, and approaches the window, ignoring the voices over the intercom warning him to keep his distance. “Kayama’s dead!” He shouts, quirk activating and shaking the whole room. “Aizawa was nearly killed too. And I was nowhere near! I couldn’t do anything to help them, Oboro, nothing.” He leans forward, resting his forehead against the glass, and closes his eyes. Silver tear tracks shimmer down his cheeks. “Come back to us, Oboro, please,” he whispers. “I need you to come back. I can’t do this alone.” Inside the cell, the black mist begins to wobble.

I honestly never saw anyone talk about this. THIS MAN KNEW HOW TO FIGHT BEFORE ENTERING U.A.

Why and how did I come to that conclusion? In the first year they ask you about your hero suit so they can make it, and I'm pretty sure this man saw his martial arts uniform and said "Use this for my hero costume! I just need some boots bc i don't have any of those here"

I'm also sure that at the sport festival he reached the semifinal / final or he just won, why? He knows how to fight perfectly and he sure had very good reflexes. He would only have to give a blow on the back of his opponent's neck and that's it.

In the fight with Hizashi he would use his clouds to block him until he ran out of air in his lungs to keep screaming and would give him a few good punches until he got out of the ring.

With Shouta it would be a bit more complicated. He couldn't use his quirk thanks to his friend's "erasure", But he would still fight until Shouta had to blink and wait for his eyes to return to normal, that would be when Oboro would take him out of the ring and win the fight.

Imagine losing to someone that makes clouds, it's a good quirk but i would cry.
