I started reading the GvK novel, and there are some parts I wanted to share for anyone not interested in reading it, but might enjoy the extra content of everyone's favorite big angry animals. I'm not doing this in any particular order, and right now, I really want to share this one cute scene I just read.
Quote from novel under cut.
"Watching her fingers, listening to her voice, amplified over the loudspeaker.
You: Kong, she signed. Me: Ilene. She: Jia.
His eyes shifted with the words.
Yes, she signed. Good. Can you talk with hands? Say "Kong"?
That was easy. All he really had to do was point to himself. Bonus if he made the sign Jia had made up for "Kong."
At first, he didn't do anything, so she went back through the whole rigmarole.
Then to her shock and delight, Kong lifted his hand. His lips parted, not threatening, not showing teeth. A convivial gesture, a greeting even.
Come on! she thought.
Kong then scratched his nose, let out an extended, windy yawn, and turned away.
She closed her eyes and sighed. When she opened them, Jia was there between them.
Ha,ha, she signed.
It's not funny, she said. Jia, this could be important. If we could communicate with him, really talk to him-that could be huge.
Jia shrugged. He doesn't talk, she said.

I finished more actually art last night & for that i decided to share it here too :)
Ive been taking general art suggestion from instagram. Mostly just to have more ideas of what i could draw next. I got suggested to draw Anguirus & thought of ways to do that. Ultimately, i did a sorta mix between them & Goji. I also kinda made a story at the same time too
On peaceful afternoons, both of them (Godzilla & Anguirus) would both go spend time together. Doing things to share time with each other. But of course after some time, they do need to take a moment to rest. One of Goji’s favorite things to do to past time while resting is doing a little bit of fishing (helps them relax). Anguirus just enjoys taking small naps in the shade while Godzilla continues to find some fish maybe. They enjoy moments like that honestly & makes for the best way to finish off a great day together

Called 'Shimo' in some myths, Barugon is an Anole kaiju theorized to have a similar origin to Gamera, but unlike her Barugon is noticeably more violent, as he enjoys fighting enemy kaiju no matter how much damage he causes, expecially with Gamera, who he often targets.
MOTHZILLA BABY JUMPSCARE
I love Mosugoji fan kids so much, so I decided to take a stab at what I think they'd look like. I took inspo from Emi from Ultraman Rising and attempted to design something using her body shape but it just wasn't working for me. So instead I discarded my need to make it pure cuteness and I'm super happy with the results! I thought Mojiri was a very nice mash up name for him, Moji for short. Im so excited to design the next <3
