some old starlight express drawings from a few months back.

drew like a dark, fucked up version of rusty from starlight express haha. just a glimpse into my dark reality. a full stare into my twisted perspective would make most simply go insane lmao.

back then rusty and pearl looked so PRIMITIVE. pearl being as tall as rusty is so wrong to me especially how tall i draw her now.

my first real attempt at drawing the passenger train. the only ones with actual designs were pearl and rusty.

god rusty’s neck is literally so small compared to how it looks now.

dustin and cb have remained relatively unchanged from how they were originally.

yeah ok so in my stex au, all the characters are real trains, and control is the son of the real controller of the railroad (mrs. controller). he does have toy trains that look like the ones that work for his mom.
