and they all teach Control different things about trains or coaches and it’s totally adorable and wholesome and I-
(Also yeah I’m not dead-)
Anyways, what's your version of Control like? (Physical aspect, a thing or two about his family, what he likes/dislikes)

Okay aHEM so-
I see him as like a 10 year old kid who is obsessed with trains.(Obviously🧍♂️) He has a lot of old hats from railway companies all around the world so I think he wears those a lot. He also has uniforms but he’s obviously too small to wear that. (He got all of them from his dad cause he travels a lot)
So I think he likes trains that much cause his father is the current person who’s taking care of the yard and always tells him stories about what happens there. But Control never got to actually visit the yard until one day his dad brought him to work. And he definitely wants to work there too when he’s old enough or even take over his father’s job.
For things he likes or doesn’t like it’s uh- pretty hard since he doesn’t talk much about himself in the musical. You only know he loves playing with toy trains so I’m not sure about the things he’d dislike.

They were a bit (a lot) much in all honesty and there definitely ain’t no way someone is gonna find a way to explain why they choose these kind of costumes for a musical kids actually were supposed to see.
But it’s in the past and we sadly can’t travel into back in time to talk some sense into the costume designers.
We all could write a book about this though cause the line has been crossed a couple of times with this kinda stuff in general 💀
