The writers seemed to want to do something with Lance and Shiro. There was a seed planted for something regarding Lance and Shiro's relationship.

And at Season 8, Episode 2, the writers give us an actual retcon.

Honerva was pregnant before she died and became Haggar. Is it because the writers wanted Lotor and Allura to be the same age? They would have been adults regardless.

Should I even keep Shiro's muscular Dystrophy?

I don't know if it was going to be thing in the show this whole time. The Galra getting rid of his arm could have been because he broke it in a fight or something. Also if his muscular dystrophy was always a problem, Shiro should not have been on all those missions.

I'm just wondering what the point of his condition was from a writing standpoint. Was it just to give him something to be worried about? Was it something that he could try to challenge? Was it his own personal ticking time bomb?

I don't have muscular dystrophy. I don't know anyone with it. But I know my friend's late dad had it. Beyond knowing that he used a cane to help him get around, I don't know much about it.

If you look at earlier scenes with Shiro in them, mainly the first episode, shouldn't he always have that bracelet on him? That automatically administers his medication. We don't see it on him when he's a Galra prisoner either.

Keith being able to reach the spiritual field or whatever it's called should have been something for Lance. I am so tired.

I love Keith, don't get me wrong. But my god the amount of favoritism Keith got by the writers showed.

Lance deserves better.
