charles rowland but crystal is a close second i think they both would want the autonomy of being able to drive themselves and i think charles would feel more strongly about the need to do so whereas crystal is more likely to get an uber That said love the idea of edwin surprising everyone by having learned to drive when he was alive though and it would have been a useful skill to have during the war polls dead boy detectives

whenever @netflix brings up budgeting for their reasons for cancellation i want to laugh in their faces, because i promise you that Dead Boy Detectives had a small budget, and you wanna know how i know?

the fact that they have a "magic item" for detecting a spirit's presence, and it's literally fucking rocks

they could have made anything they wanted for some kind of cool device or artifact, but nope; plain-ass grey rocks. they're not even cool gems or have any kind of engravings on them or whatever. just fucking rocks.

but please, @netflix, tell me again about how "expensive" it was to film this show. i'm ready to believe you any minute now. 🙄

*wakes in the middle of the night in a cold sweat* but crows give gifts! Shiny things and pebbles and whatnot, what if Monty had brought little tiny trinkets to Edwin, what if it confused the hell out of Edwin but he kept them anyway, what if Monty kept trying to court him with this method until edwins desk was full of keys and coins and rocks and tin foil and wires, what if it was spring cleaning and Crystal dumped the desk drawer into the trash and Monty had to start all over, what if I actually get some sleep at some point, goddammit this show

yes i so wanted to see monty court edwin crow-style and we've seen the London office edwin already enjoys trinkets and collecting and it would be sweet to see him collect the things monty gave him dead boy detectives
