under 70 in the summer is diabolical actually. not only because having ac at 68 when it's 100 degrees outside is fucking freezing but also because its prohibitively expensive. also 76 is not hot it is normal

I was feeling agitated and artblocked yesterday so I decided to give my brain a rest by watching TV and then the next thing I knew these were in front of me
was lifeguarding during the hottest summer on record where I live (it was over 100 F for over a full month, often well above it). there were days where it got up to 110-114 F. some of these days I worked 8 to 10-hour shifts with no AC and only my 64-ounce waterbottle and (sometimes) a shitty electric fan to cool off. by the end of summer, 100 F felt like a nice day (I remember multiple times thinking "wow the weather is so pleasant today!" and then seeing that it was between 100 and 105 F). the moral of this story is that if you work hard, maybe you too will be able to horribly fuck up your body's sense of relative temperature
