I’ve finally come to a decision on Sicktember! I do want to continue writing fics for every prompt, but I will not be writing/posting them on the exact day they’re meant to be posted on. For example, day 8 is going to posted not on September 8th, but whenever it is finished. It’s gonna bug my ocd but hopefully it should allow for a smoother process and keeping myself from getting burnt out. I hope this is alright and you’ll continue to support my work :)

I’m so excited about Sicktember, and I’m really enjoying it so far, but I’m even further behind now than I was before and it kinda makes me wonder if maybe I should just write the ones that I have ideas for/suggestions for and just skip the others. I don’t want to burn myself out or sacrifice quality over quantity, especially since finishing this month will be doubling the number of fics I already have written over the last year. Not to mention how it puts my vampire!Kaveh fic completely on the back burner.

Maybe I’m overthinking, I dunno! Because it would be so satisfying to actually finish this challenge. 😭

Idea for Day 25: Summer Flu -

Insomnia is holding an inaugural Summer Festival (or whatever you want to call it) to celebrate the city, the history, and the people. Everyone is buzzing with excitement during the preperations.

The royal family will be making an appearance and Noctis will have a big role, as he is coming of age and needs to begin taking on more responsibilities.

The problem is, Noctis has been feeling under the weather for the past several days and the festival is tomorrow. He falls sicker and sicker in the days leading up to the big event, and gets really sick the night before, spending much of the evening in the bathroom with Ignis (no romance).

He looks terrible on the day of the festival, but he still is determined to make an appearance. The people of Insomnia can't help but notice that their prince looks totally miserable...
