As you do so, we would like to remind all content creators that anything worthy of your time and effort is worthy of praise! So, post with pride! You did something amazing, and whether this is your first time sharing your talents or the 554th time, it is an accomplishment!

We'd also like to take a moment to remind all of the content consumers reading this post, that positive feedback is always appreciated! Even if it’s a single heart emoji in the comments or a quick reblog. Those small gestures of support make your favorite content creators smile!

Welcome to the Sicktember 2022 prompt list!

Sicktember is a month-long, multi-fandom prompt event that is taking place in September! This event focuses on sick characters and their caregivers.

Please refer to our FAQ . If you still have questions or need clarification, feel free to send an ask on this blog, or our personal blogs @yes-i-am-happyaspie and @obsessionoftheday.

We are so excited about this event and hope to have lots of participation! We can’t wait to read what you all create with these prompts!

Okay I’m going to be very ambitious here and try to participate and Kinktober as well as Sicktember! I might just reuse stories I’ve already written because a lot of the prompts match ones I’ve already done.

I’ll do my best to do one every day, but you know how life can be 😭

Sicktember Fanfic Suggestions!

Hiii so I’m participating in Sicktember this year (unfortunately its final year 😔) and I’m having a bit of trouble with the brainstorming process on some of the prompts. If you have any that you’d like to see, feel free to request! Either on this post, or in an ask :)

***Please note I have crossed out prompts that I don’t feel comfortable with writing.***

Idea for a prompt! Cyno cooks way too much Tahchin and since Tighnari already ate more than he's comfortable with, Cyno ends up stuffing himself on the rest so it doesn't go to waste. Tighnari is shocked by how much his boyfriend can eat and even more shocked by the large burp Cyno lets out, signaling that he's starting to feel pretty full, but as he rubs his belly and coaxes out another big burp, he keeps eating. Even as he feels fuller and fuller, he still keeps going, burping more and more frequently. Until he finally finishes it all and is left the fullest he's ever felt and fullest Tighnari has ever seen him. He lets out a monstrous burp and moans, rubbing his bulging belly and feeling miserable. So Tighnari rubs Cyno's belly to try and settle it, flinching as his rubbing works up more gargantuan belches, each one bringing him such wonderful relief. So Cyno intentionally starts burping some more in the hopes that his belly won't hurt with all that pressure expelled, and at first, he feels relief, with Tighnari helping to knead his belly and force up more gas. But at some point, Cyno burps way too hard, making his stomach lurch as some food almost comes up. He covers his mouth and muffles another burp, feeling more food come up. Until finally, he lets out a nasty belch that causes a stream of vomit to spew out of him. Tighnari cringes but rubs his back and belly to help soothe him as he expels more bile. Cyno lets out another huge burp and a second one that brings up more food. By the time he finishes, his stomach is greatly deflated, and he's absolutely winded. Tighnari rubs Cyno's much smaller belly to help it settle down and when he's rubbing it gurgles aggressively, making Tighnari worry that Cyno is about to puke again, but Cyno turns his head and lets out the longest burp Tighnari has ever heard, and moans with relief, probably making some pun about it afterwards. XD

AAAAA this is so hot omg! I will definitely write that one down, thank you!

Also yes, I am finally branching out to writing more than just Genshin and FFXV! I’m gonna be ushering in some other fandoms as well. So far I have one prompt I have chosen to write as Sam and Sebastian from Stardew Valley :)

I have some ideas/suggestions for Sicktember! I stuck with prompts you didn't have any ideas or suggestions for yet, according to an earlier post you made. Love your work!! :3 I am a huge FFXV fan and love to see Noctis suffer and receive all the comfort, so all my suggestions are focused there. Not a big fan of romance between the boys. Love a good, platonic friendship! I added some details into the recommendations, but please, use them as much or as little as you see fit! :)

Day 3: Campus Crud - There's something going around Noct's and Prompto's school. Prompto manages to avoid it, but Noctis isn't so lucky. The symptoms come on quickly and he begins to come down with it in class. He realizes he needs to ask Ignis to pick him up early, something very uncharacteristic for Noct, especially since he had plans to hang out with Prompto after school. Ignis knows Noct must really feel awful if he is reaching out like that during the middle of the school day and admit to not feeling well, and especially miss hanging out with Prompto after school.

Day 6: Dizziness/vertigo - Noctis is feeling off all morning but knows he can't skip out on training with Gladio. He pushes through for as long as he can, but progressively feels dizzier and dizzier, leading him to get sick all over. Gladio is completely caught off guard by it since Noct hid it so well. Gladio takes a gentle approach with Noct afterwards. He doesn't like seeing him so shaky and pale, covered in puke.

Day 9: Overdramatic patient/caretaker - Prompto is hanging out with Noctis alone for one of the first times early in their friendship, and Noctis begins to feel sick and nauseous, which leads to vomiting. Prompto has never seen Noct sick before and starts to slightly panic and doesn't know what to do because...that's the Prince of Lucis...and he doesn't want to cross boundaries and break royal protocol. He tries to care for him, but ultimately decides to call Ignis/Gladio for help. Lots of comfort ensues.

Day 11 (ALT): “I didn’t mean to wake you up.” - Noctis comes down with a fever/flu while the guys are on the road and is feeling pretty miserable. He falls asleep early and gets woken up by Ignis coming into the room/tent to check on him. Noct proceeds to get sick everywhere and is really embarrassed and emotional about it, a result of the high fever. Gladio and Prompto decide to stay out of the way to let Noctis have some privacy with just Ignis caring for him, since Noct is so worked up about the whole situation and they don't want to further upset him. They can't stand to see Noct so distressed.

Day 26 (ALT): Flushed Cheeks - The boys are on the road completing hunts. It's a sweltering day, but they need all the Gil they can get. The heat begins to take a toll on Noctis and he finds himself very shaky and nauseous. The boys notice his flushed cheeks and labored breathing. They try and coax him to lay down in the shade, but Noct passes out. The others need to work quickly to cool him off before things get even worse. They try and spare Noct as much privacy and dignity as they can, but his body temperature is too hot from the heat exhaustion.

Day 28 (ALT): Hospital Bed - Noctis starts to feel the symptoms of appendicitis, but chooses to ignore them, thinking it's just an annoying stomach bug. The symptoms worsen, but Noct forces himself to proceed with his long schedule for the day, not wanting to disappoint his father. Ignis notices and is concerned, but Noct is stubborn. Things take a turn for the worse and Noct ends up in the Citadel hospital for an emergency appendectomy.

So for Sicktember day 8, I’m planning on writing a camping trip with 4ggravate. One of them is gonna get really sick, but idk who I wanna whump lol. I’m leaning towards Cyno bc I always torment him, but I wanna know what you guys think!

Hi hello!! I was wondering if possible and if you’re up for it!! To have a sick Cyno tighnari caretaker for brain fog/spaced out? I feel like cyno being out of it mentally due to how nauseous he is and how much his stomach hurts would be really interesting to see 🙈 especially since he’s normally so alert and on top of things!! Maybe he’s trying to help nari with some work and is just…not there..maybe tighnari wouldn’t let him wander home in the forest in this condition and insists on him being looked after ..

But! No pressure ofc!!! I look forward to reading more of your work!! 😊

I’m so excited about Sicktember, and I’m really enjoying it so far, but I’m even further behind now than I was before and it kinda makes me wonder if maybe I should just write the ones that I have ideas for/suggestions for and just skip the others. I don’t want to burn myself out or sacrifice quality over quantity, especially since finishing this month will be doubling the number of fics I already have written over the last year. Not to mention how it puts my vampire!Kaveh fic completely on the back burner.

Maybe I’m overthinking, I dunno! Because it would be so satisfying to actually finish this challenge. 😭

I’ve finally come to a decision on Sicktember! I do want to continue writing fics for every prompt, but I will not be writing/posting them on the exact day they’re meant to be posted on. For example, day 8 is going to posted not on September 8th, but whenever it is finished. It’s gonna bug my ocd but hopefully it should allow for a smoother process and keeping myself from getting burnt out. I hope this is alright and you’ll continue to support my work :)
