Annddd Will having a crush on Mike that opens up the possibility of a queer couple being canon

Making a gay character have his whole plotline revolve around having a crush on a guy just to turn around and say “well actually that guy doesn’t like him back!” And then make the heterosexual couple endgame is extremely scummy.

They did not have to open up the possibility of a queer couple, yet they did. If they end up sticking with milkshake for season 5 instead of Byler after making it SO clear that it could happen, it by definition is queer baiting

i absolutely adore the head cannon that mike softens his voice around will out of habit, because will was very sensitive to sounds in kindergarten, while mike was a little spoiled as a kid & one day little mike threw a tantrum, which spooked little will, making him flinch.

mike took it to heart and has tried to keep his voice low while speaking to will later on, which has become his habit ever since.

I love Byler because El deserves so much better than Mike, but Will deserves exactly Mike.

Now, I don't think Will deserves less than El or anything like that. I'm just saying that El would deserve to have Will's Mike, but instead she gets her Mike.

All in all, El's Mike is an asshole, but Will's Mike is worth falling for.
