Just like last year, I’m putting all of my ArtFight attacks in one post! My goal was 10 drawings this year (since I generally wasn’t very motivated this time around :/) and I did just that, oh and 2 whole mass attacks! I…won’t be doing that again, hopefully 😅 😓

Heyyyyy…so I might have come up with a Dandy’s World AU?
Not quite sure what I’d call it yet (Smiling World?) , but TLDR: what if I mixed my fictional mutating monster disease thingie called the Smile Virus with Dandy's World? Instead of Twisteds, you got these messed-up looking monster toons called Smilings. Basically, every toon gets the same ‘altered design for their twisted forms’ treatment that the main toons did. Meanwhile everyone has to deal with them while managing supplies and whatnot.
Idk if I should make a separate side blog for this or if I should just post stuff here as I work on it. It’s a major WIP, but I’m excited to share the events and designs that I’ve already cooked up in my noggin 👀

The Graveyard of Children and the Big Oven in Scorching Summer: Devastated Gaza
A plea from a Gazan family struggling to survive to another family in a better place on the same planet: we need your support in dodging bombs raining down on Gaza around the clock! We long for peace and safety! We long for a NORMAL life!
Life becomes incredibly unbearable in these scorching hot summer days turning tents into ovens that boil the blood in my family's veins. Even worse, the angel of death is taking the lives of so many helpless women, children, and elderly as you are reading this post.
As much as it weighs heavily on my burdened dear-stricken heart to say this, Gaza has gained more infamous nicknames during the ongoing genocide besides 'the biggest open-air prison in the world". Now, it is also an 'uninhabitable ghost city', 'the graveyard of children', and a 'blood bath'.
Only yesterday, Netanyahu, who is still thirsty for the blood of our children, made a press stating that the ravaging war on Gaza will continue. This means that my family, along with thousands of other families, will continue to run in a vicious circle of displacement, running from death, mass murder, hunger, thirst, and fear for life.
Please decide to take tangible action today to help my family evacuate as soon as possible to Egypt. I cannot lose them!

Am I the jerk for confronting a shopkeeper over his scummy business practices?
Ugh. Can’t believe I’m doing this. But I’m hiding out from some monsters right now, and it’s better than doing nothing.
I (M, idk and idc. Young I guess?) used to be a part of this dumb kids show. I only participated because I was bored. Not because I wanted to teach kids or anything. Teaching lessons is so boring!!! Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. I had to work with my fellow toons and interact with kids and stuff. And I’m sure you can tell how I felt towards them all.
To tell you the truth, I actually liked it when people stopped showing up at our home, cuz’ then I didn’t have to be a part of the show anymore. The only problem was when toons started going crazy for no apparent reason. We called these guys Twisteds (this is relevant later.)
Out of all the toons, the one I probably dislike the most would be D (M, don’t care. 5 or 6?) D runs a supply shop which is all fun and dandy, but I noticed that he rarely had good stuff for sale. Just useless junk food and cheap trinkets.
It didn’t help that he only accepted VHS tapes. Those things are hard to get, man! And his prices were seriously inflated. After the umpteenth time of getting tapes just to find he had nothing good in stock, I knew something had to be done.
So as any rational toon would, I snuck into the back of D’s shop when he went on a scavenging mission. If he thinks he’s gonna get ME to work my butt off just to buy some junk he thought wrong! Anyways, I start ‘borrowing’ his extra tapes (he had boxes and boxes of the things!) when D shows up again.
He starts YELLING at me to drop the tapes, to which I said no. I told him that he was saving all of the good items for himself, and that his prices were unfair. I wish I could have taken a photo of his face!! The smug, proud D pushed off of his high horse. If I didn’t do it, then surely someone else would eventually.
Dangit. Going on a side tangent again. So I was messing with D, and he kept trying to snatch the tape out of my hand.
To further tease him (as “friends” do), I push a shelf, causing a big box to fall over. Surprise surprise, it’s full of tapes. But D stopped going after me at that point. He just. Froze. And kneeled down by the box of spilled tapes. As the others enter the room to see what the heck is going on, I’m briefly considering if what I did was too much.
That consideration was short lived, as D freaking twisted in front of our eyes!! Twisted? Twist-ified? I dunno!! But he turned into a monster, and beat the stuffing outta me!! This one girl and these twins who I tolerate (F, and both M. They’re both like 5) managed to calm D down, before another guy knocked him out. But not before me, and a few others, were seriously injured. Who knew an angry flower could pack such a punch?!
…I didn’t stick around much longer, especially when D started waking up. Everyone was glaring at me and refusing to even come near, so I knew I wasn’t welcome anymore. Fine by me. I never liked them anyways, and it didn’t help that they all took D’s side. I’ve been wandering the lower levels of our home in search of a place to stay, and now you’re all caught up. So am I really the jerk for messing with D in the first place? I still think he could have run his shop better.

Am I the jerk for hurting my friends over some VHS tapes?
Uh…howdy! If there’s any mistakes on my end, I apologize. One of my more tech savvy friends is helping me write this.
Anyways, I (M, like 5-6 physically? We toons age weirdly) used to be a part of a popular kids show. Maybe you’ve heard of it before. It’s called- oh, huh? My tech buddy is telling me that I can’t use any names. In that case…I’ll call it DW. And back in the day, DW was all the rage! Me and my friends all live in an educational center/museum, and humans would visit us all the time.
But one day, people just. Stopped showing up. I can’t quite remember the reason why. Regardless, me and my friends were left to fend for ourselves in our home. But that’s ok! It’s not like we needed to eat or anything. We had each other, and all was good.
…which is what I would say, if it wasn’t for the fact that not too long after being abandoned, toons started acting funny. Their eyes went red, and they started attacking people! We ended up calling these guys Twisteds, and we trapped them on the building’s lower floors to keep ourselves safe.
When you’re surviving with your friends, you all have parts to play. And mine is scavenging, and in turn selling whatever odds and ends I could find. We don’t exactly use human currency, so I exchanged my wares for old VHS tapes of our show. I missed the good old days, you know? And if I couldn’t relive them, I could at least rewatch them.
So I’m doing my thing, scavenging some pop bottles and chocolate bars from one of the deeper levels of my home. I was dodging Twisteds left and right, so by the time I made it back to the surface, I was just about ready to call it a day. But then I see S (M, also like 5-6 physically), a “friend” of ours, messing with my tapes. I asked him to stop, and he said something about ‘my prices being outrageous’ and ‘I’m hogging all of the actually useful items for myself’.
Some other friends were there, too, and they tried to calm me down, but I wasn’t having any of it. And to make matters worse, my anger seemed to only excite S further, who knocked a whole box of tapes off of a shelf. By the time I reached the box the tapes were strewn across the ground, and most of them were broken! S was always kind of a meanie, but he had taken things too far. He KNEW how much those tapes meant to me!
What happened next, you might ask? Well, I don’t remember every detail. Though I can recall kneeling there, some broken tapes in my hands. All those happy memories, now lost. I remember feeling really angry. Angrier than I ever felt before…..and then I woke up on the floor. The door had been barricaded from the outside, and black liquid (the colour of our blood) stained my face, hands, and the room. My friends checked on me not too long afterwards, and explained what had happened.
They said that I just- turned into a Twisted? And that I went on a rampage, attacking just about anyone who got in my way. And yet somehow, they had calmed me down before knocking me out. I’ve since resumed my shopkeeper job, and everything has returned to normal for the most part. But my friends get all quiet when they’re around me, and the ones who I injured avoid me entirely.
So, am I the jerk for hurting them? I must reiterate that I wasn’t in control when I was a Twisted, but S shouldn’t have messed with my tapes in the first place. Um. I’m getting off track, aren’t I? My bad. D, signing off.
Edit: I failed to mention that I’m the only toon who un-Twisted. So maybe there’s a cure after all…
Edit 2: Oh, and none of us have seen S in a little while now. Apparently I hurt him pretty badly. But there’s no way that I killed him. Right?
Edit 3: He’s alive! But, uh. I think he’s twisted now. Oops.
