Ok so now I just need to figure out dark mode on my phone. BUT HEY reversi skin plus code!

Automatic Dark Mode on AO3

Do you use dark mode on your phone or computer? Do you wish AO3 would switch to dark mode when your device did? Good news! AO3 recently added a new option for skins that can help with that.

Here’s what you need to do to make AO3 automatically switch to the Reversi skin when you enable dark mode on your device:

Log in.

Copy the CSS for Reversi.

Go to the Create New Skin page.

Leave the “Type” field set to “Site Skin.”

Every skin on the Archive has to have a unique name, so fill in the “Title” field with something like “Your Name’s Automatic Dark Mode.”

Paste the CSS for Reversi into the big “CSS” field.

Where it says “Advanced,” press the “Show ↓” button to reveal more options.

In the section that says “Choose @media,” check the box for “(prefers-color-scheme: dark).” It’s one of the last options on the list, so you’ll have to scroll.

Press “Submit” to save your skin.

Press “Use” to apply it.

If your device is currently set to light mode, you won’t notice anything. But when you switch your device to dark mode, the Reversi skin will be applied to the Archive! When you switch back to light mode, you’ll see the regular white and red layout again.

I'm feeling quite savage about these nasty beetles. This is the first year my clematis has bloomed and they bloody well skeletonized most of the flowers.

My garden gloves were contaminated with poison ivy so my choice was (a) wait until the next day so I could pick them off with gloves on, or (b) pick them off bare-handed. Despite my normal reluctance to touch most bugs, I went with option b and just dunked them in my soapy water.

I'm going back out tomorrow to hunt for survivors. They were eating leaves and flowers alike from clematis, peas, roses, and grapevines. If they go after my 4" (10cm) high Cucurbitae I believe I shall implode with fury.

To my surprise, I'm actually doing reasonably well at keeping alive the things I plant this year, and if it gets ruined because of some nasty bugs I think I'll have to go scream in the woods.

Adrinette wedding idea:

Lila is working for one of the vendors Adrinette hire, so she ends up involved in some of the wedding execution. She decides to upstage Marinette and gets herself a gorgeous white gown…

What she fails to realize is that Marinette’s dress will be red. Nobody there mistakes her for the bride. Not that they would have, anyway. But she definitely doesn’t get the attention she was going for. Even her backup plan doesn’t go anywhere, because Sabine is Wise to Her Shit and refuses to kick her out and provide fodder for the lurking paparazzi.

It might be a little cruel of Sabine, but she’s having a blast ‘reintroducing’ Lila to some of the celebrities she’s claimed to know who are actually friendly with Marinette.

Lila gets flack from some of the guests because it’s obvious what she was trying to do with the white dress but the killing blow comes from one of Marinette’s Chinese relatives when she cheerfully compliments Lila on looking dead.

The absolute worst of it, though, is that Gabriel Agreste just has that gorilla of a bodyguard bundle her discreetly out of the venue the second she starts fuming and really considering making a huge scene, and Hawk Moth can’t even be bothered to have her back.
