I have the headcanon that Tsukasa, when the Taisen stuff started going down, (the first sign was probably glimpsing Narutaki's latest Shocker duds) did his hair up all Great Leader and went to the Hikari Studio to talk to the group, but Kaitou was out doing Thief Stuff. And Tsukasa's just like "Hey so Natsumikan? Yusuke? Things are about to get stupid as hell." "How stupid?" "My hair is like this, I saw Narutaki in a Doktor G cosplay, and Captain Marvelous declared war on Kamen Riders." "...RIGHT. We'll, uh, we'll drink tea till you get back." "Awesome, thanks guys." "Wait, should we tell Daiki-sa--" But Tsukasa was already gone. This is why at the end of Super Hero Taisen, Diend threw such a big baby fit; he didn't get the memo. Also because Tsukasa probably befriended Gentarou offscreen.

so yongou seemed to be presenting an AU where takumi was alone on the hill at the end - maybe a universe where mari & keitarou are gone, too? though that’s a little much even for faiz. so i’m guessing it’s one where he wasn’t somehow cured of the “all orphenochs will die” thing, and so went off on his own like a dying animal would. poor puppy 8(

but i suppose this and the canonical end of faiz could actually be one and the same, if we assume that the screencaps above are the actual memory, while this:

was just something he imagined in order to make dying a little less awful. imagining his friends are there, that his body is no longer falling apart, and talking about dreams one more time before closing his eyes with a smile

especially since the camera then pans back to show the same black material used in his fight with kiba (which had seemed to accentuate how something was “off” and wrong about the whole situation)

and which is later used, of course, in yongou, where takumi is the one causing time to repeat & distorting the world from how it “should be”

Today I learned that SIC Hero Saga came up with an Ouja Survive. Which is just…why? Why would you even. Was he not enough of a danger as just a psychopath with THREE CONTRACTED MONSTERS??? I mean…no. The only place that an Ouja Survive should exist is in an AR World where it’s just him and Kusaka from Faiz in a desert.

They can become the ultimate trash couple, it’ll be great.
