Moths are one of my fav inscects, the only other being bees, but like, once there was a moth the size of a sparrow sleeping on the screen door of the back enterance, and i was supposed to take the garbage out but I didn’t because I was absolutely terrified of it.

Tumblr recently announced a new feature called Post+ meant to help content creators make money while keeping a cut to help maintain the site. Not a bad idea, right?

The problem is that tumblr actively encouraged the use of Post+ in conjunction with fan works. Which is, despite the way they continue to side step it, highly illegal. Not enough people are aware of that fact.

Our mission is to force tumblr to either rebrand the Post+ feature as something for original content ONLY and/or offer a means to help the site survive outside of monetizing fan work. We want the see tumblr thrive but Post+ has the potential for ruining everything. Give us a better option, @staff ! In fact, HERE are some options!

So when I was a kid, I lived on the corner of a street. It intersected another street at a “T” angle, so there were like 4 houses on that exact street corner. These houses were also duplexes, so altogether there was 8 separate households. Most of those households has 1 or 2 children around the same age as me and my sister, and we all knew each other from school. So of course, we all played together after school and on weekends and holidays.

One of my friends had a grandmother with some kind of health problem that required her to give herself injections occasionally. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t some kind of drug addiction, because we were all military families, but regardless of the reason, there were syringes with sharp needles in the house.  

One time, we were all playing hide-and-seek tag in the yard one day and I, being dumb, had taken off my flip-flops so I could run better. I wasn’t looking where I was going, and stepped on a needle in the yard. Like half of the needle went into my foot, but long-ways, so it wasn’t deep.

I vividly remember looking at it and pulling it out, then calmly throwing it in the outdoors trashcan before going back to playing. I never made a sound the entire time. No gasp of pain, no “hey  guys, I just stepped on Grandma’s needle.” Nothing. And I never mentioned it until now.

I don’t know why I didn’t say anything. It’s not like my mother hadn’t told me and my sister to tell her if we ever get cut or hurt by an unknown piece of metal or trash. She had warned us about tetanus and HIV, as well as other blood-transferred diseases. I just... decided not to tell her? Idk why. I’m glad that I didn’t get ill, but man. How stupid can you get tiny Cinder?
