it is so crazy to me that sanderson expects for his readers’ views of navani and dalinar’s marriage to be completely the same post-row as pre-row. like how do you make navani’s feelings of being ignored and underappreciated by the men in her life a central internal conflict, introduce her to a woman that views navani the way she desperately craves to be by her partners, have these two women experience a deep but inevitably doomed relationship founded on mutual understanding, then have dalinar come back like :) wow navani you’re great (while he pointedly was not the person who loved and respected her so much that she was able to love herself) and think that readers will still be like wow what an incredible and healthy power couple that equally benefits both parties and that navani feels respected in
